As a hardcore DS fan I could not be happier with the work EA motive have put into this. Any company making a remake should take all follow this example. No cut content like res3 remake. Only expand on, add new bits and improve existing bits. My 1st playthrough of DS remake felt like my 1st time ever with the franchise in a way, the remake is that good. About to finish on impossible then thats all achievements. I still find myself wanting more. I actually need them to remake the 2nd one now with as much love as they made the 1st.

I love the adrenaline rush Isaac gets from stomps. Literally the other day I was stomping on a necromorph and killed it and Isaac let out a very tired and angry "PIECE OF SHIIT!" and I was like, "Okay Isaac damn...its dead man" lmao

The flamethrower is an absolute unit of of a weapon in the remake it can easily bust the stasis unit on twitchers and it doesn't care about the armor on brutes plus it also staggers enemies fairly easily which stops them in their tracks and gives you some more breathing room. Almost if not all normal enemies will not step through the flamethrowers alt fire wall of fire, so you can use it to lock down and small area and keep normal enemies from pushing you. Also, as a side note about stomping, you can get at least 1 rare quip from Issac when stomping.

For the speedy necromorphs just use the Ripper and you're pretty much guaranteed to hit the stasis module. Easiest and fastest way to deal with them that I've found.

I've only done one full playthrough, but based on that I would agree. Ripper is the safest way to deal with the stasis necros, at least from what I've found so far.

Normally I play horror games with my headphones on. The background noise of people screaming and crying freaked me out, but then later in the game. It becomes whispers, less scary but more unsettling. One of the few Horror games to make me jump out of my chair and make my skin crawl

Edit: hitting a Twitcher's module DO NOT kill them instantly, only creates a short blast of stasis.

4:00 “dedicated players can use this as a high-level combat strategy” (referring to hitting the stasis module on twitchers)… Or, you could just use the force gun or flamethrower. Both weapons are almost guaranteed to hit the sensitive spot-along with everything else nearby!

Look between between the gap of the Soldier suit RIG and you'll discover that Isaac Clark is spineless just like woke Motive Studio the Mass Effect Andromeda multi culti afro team that made all characters either whimps, ugly, afro American, flat or homosexual because politics and racial identity really had to be focus of a action game. This game is truly 2023. If you want the best Dead Space experience mute the music and the voices. You still have to watch the annoying ugly Nicole recordings bur you can shut your eyes. And the new extra multiracial diversity posters are also unavoidable. Containing more afro and more women than the original because they really needed to be represented in this game. The Studios shameless agenda being pushed.

The more entries a series gets the more it usually goes astray and looses all the aspects people used to love it for in the first place. And that's a problem we already had in Dead Space 3. So, I have no CLUE what some people are even expecting from a potential Dead Space 4..
