It has always facinates me how the whole marker eco system is a macro version of how a virus infects the body, this virus actually infects the universe in the same way but it's a supersized version. And I do think there's an opportunity for the remake to do a better job to explain this background from what happened on the colony in chapter 12, because in the original game, the story just seems to stops there., and you'll have to watch the comic and animation movie to get filled in on much of this stuff.

1. One character got changed. A throw away no name that dies within the first ten minutes. 2. Not sure where this whole "Kendra is a lesbian" shit comes from, but the dialogue at the beginning insinuates that she agrees with Issac that the mission briefing is boring. I'm assuming this misconception of her being a lesbian comes from having a room temperature IQ.
