Hi Phillip, Thank you so much for this very informative video. It is just the boost I needed to do some up-skilling. So having said that, what application is generally used for the kind of animation you showed in the Moto Logo and Moving email segments? Are we talking Photoshop or is a there a less clumsy platform that I should learn. What's the industry standard? I work in print at the moment, but really want to add some new work to my portfolio before going job hunting.

The symbol thing some of the brand name are just plain, shadow like ( Nike, DD's, Apple) etc. What if a person didn't know these brands at all, how are they gonna know ??

Dashia, Brands usually don't brand themselves with only an icon unless they are already incredibly well known. And if someone doesn't know about them - it makes them curious to find out more.

Start with your name - then elevate to a "company" name later and attach your name as a "sub-nomen" - ie. ""Company name"- with Dashia James... get it?

I hardly ever use background music - and people are very split on it - some love - some hate - which is why I hardly ever do. It was an experiment. But thanks for weighing in - I appreciate the feedback.
