At the 2004 Sony Open in Hawaii, 14-year-old Michelle Wie made her first career start on the PGA TOUR, shooting rounds of 72 and 68, just missing the cut by one shot. She is the youngest woman ever to tee it up on the PGA TOUR.

In fairness she was draining 50 footers so that certainly helps but yea in golf if you can chip and putt and have any kind of a golf swing ur gonna score very well...particularly on those days when the 50 footers are dropping

@@Peter-ff1tp didn’t Tiger start that? He did pretty well in the same position. He was famous for golf since age 3. You’re assuming riches and fame ruined her, maybe, but you likely don’t have personal knowledge and yet you speak like you do. We could just as easily blame her swing change away from that gorgeous swing she used to have. We could blame Leadbetter. We could blame the injuries. Or maybe you’re right. The point is: we don’t know. However, you’re projecting your assumptions as truth without evidence when there are contrary examples, like Tiger Woods and countless other athletes who received crazy attention, fame, and wealth early on. Moreover, as mentioned above, there could be other reasons for her decline.
