1440p Gaming in Late 2024: Does the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER Deliver?

What FPS do you prefer: 60, 90, 120, or something else?

I'm a bit old fashioned. From 60 fps onwards my eyes are satisfied. 90 fps is very nice though. It is a bit smoother than 60 fps for sure. But I really don't see much difference between 120 fps and 90 fps. I prefer to just take a look ar what my pc can handle and lock the fps to whatever the pc can run at a stable fps. And in worst case even a stable 30 fps is acceptable to me as long as it remains stable with no drops.

​@@NatuurSpoorEducatie It depends on the type of game. I don’t mind 30 FPS in a pinch (if I don’t have hardware capable of 60+ FPS). However, with this setup, I expect nothing less than 60 FPS, preferably 90.

3rd person games around 80-90 is good just for the smoothnes, but for fps games definitelly above 120 specially with 165hz monitor

I mainly play single games, i have 34 inch uwqhd and 90 fps and more feel great

I personally think the 4070 ti super will age pretty gracefully in comparison to its other 40 series counterparts for the price.

Remember folks. All you need to do is put the textures on ultra, and you can run everything else on high, and it will look 90% as good. That goes for all games, for all cards, at all times. Consider the side by side comparisons between the PS5 and the PS5 pro. Pretty much exactly the same principle. I've been gaming since the zx81. Trust me, going ultra is a mugs games. Because side by side, you simply stop noticing unless you really, really look for it. And if you don't have a side by side, you'll never notice at all. You'll save a lot of money though. Another tip is to buy games 2 years after they come out. You get them dirt cheap, fully patched, with all the DLC. All my games for the past 10 years have been high refresh rate. Now you know why.

You might get slightly lower FPS in certain scenarios. But I wouldn't worry about it. You'll get great experience with the 14700F. It's a strong CPU.

Согласно последним утечкам, значительного прироста производительности для следующего поколения видеокарт 70-class, скорее всего, не будет, и ценовая стратегия NVIDIA, похоже, также не изменится. Поэтому я считаю, что сейчас подходящее время, чтобы приобрести 4070 Ti SUPER и наслаждаться ею в течение ближайших нескольких месяцев, вместо того чтобы ждать следующего поколения.
