"Historically Nvidia Launches High End Products First" The problem is that Nvidia ONLY launches high end products. Lowest end products from Nvidia is 4070/5070. And anything below 4070 is just an absolute joke anyway. Most cards don't even get enough VRAM to run games at 1080p...

The 4070S is the better card, however I will probably pick the 7900 Gre because : - I want a GPU with a good and quiet cooler : The Sapphire Pure 7900 gre costs around 590€ in my country and the MSI Gaming x 4070S costs 715€. So a 125€ difference. - GPU temps are really good on the 7900Gre (55 degrees on average is crazy) - I use DLSS on my laptop with a 1440p screen and I consistently find it to be a blurry mess (i prefer playing at 1080p actually) but that may be something that i'm doing wrong seeing how much you can't notice the difference. - 12Go of VRAM is not an issue today for sure but I can't be sure that it will be the case in the future, especially since DLSS and FG use VRAM to run properly. With all that said, if the price of the 4070S drops to that of the 7900Gre, i'll buy the 4070S.

About DLSS blurriness: do you adjust sharpness in games where you experience it? Usually there is a sharpness slider next to DLSS in menu. Try that if you haven't already. I usually use around 25% or 0.25 depending on the value type the slider uses. But I do tend to favour slightly softer image. I don't like it sharp as sharpness usually introduces various visual issues.

rtx3060 12gb vs rtx4060 when i got a bew pc prebuilt(why some ask...i cant build myself) The price on the parts n gpus was not extremly different but the prebuilt pc was about 500euro more expensive w a rtx4060 vs rtx3060ti or 12gb version so thats why i got a rtx3060 12gb and a huge fact was that people told me to get w 12gb so i dont need trouble like w old gtx1650 4gb gpu i had n gamed on before(horrible when the vram just aint enough) So was it stupid is what i still ask myself when i see that the rtx4060 has alot of more fps in almost all games(a few games that demands over 8gb vram that are peretty close w the older 30series gpu) 500 euro difference would it have been worth it in 2023/12/31 so about 6 months back now.. Also what will i need to save up to next time to be able to game in 1080p ultra settings w r.t on?? example rtx4070ti or super in a prebuilt w a ok cpu that works ok w the gpu will this be enough in about 12months or 18months even?? I know that the 50series rtx fpus are soon comming so the rtx5060 and rtx5070 how will they compare to todays higly used 1080p gaming cards(rtx3060/4060 and amds gpus) Will it(mayby)Be better to get a rtx5060 when it comes vs a rtx4070ti prebuilt pc...This is pretty hard to say before info has come about the hardware i guess?? Anyway 1080p max settings with Ray tracing at maximum what is n will be needed to run it for me in 1years time up to 18months(if we say 10-15% increase in games that will come vs whats needed today for same gameplay at maximum in 1080p) Hope u understand what i try to ask(dont know this stuff n dont really know where to look either to be 100% sure) Thanks 4 this great video alot of info

The RTX 4060 build for extra 500 Euros is absolutely not worth it. No way!🙅‍♂️ And as for the future, we'll have to wait and see what the RTX 50-series brings. NVIDIA has the potential to either pleasantly surprise us or horribly disappoint when it comes to RTX 5060/70 cards. No one knows yet how they'll configure those cards. Also, 5060/70 cards are still many many months away. 5090 and 5080 will launch first. If I wanted a low to mid-tier GPU now then I wouldn't wait until RTX 50-series. The wait is too long imho. Furthermore, I'd recommend looking into moving to a 1440p monitor. DLSS is so good now that you can enjoy games on a 1440p monitor and it'll be a more pleasant experience than 1080p. Thanks to DLSS I use the RTX 4070 SUPER to play games on a 4K monitor using DLSS Quality or Balanced. Good stuff.

Yes, absolutely. AMD's branding is clearly associated with FSR technology, making users connect the two. Ultimately, AMD bears responsibility for FSR's development. If FSR has the potential you claim, they could have fostered stronger collaboration with both major and independent game developers to ensure better integration within their games.

192bit bus, full x16 lanes, 12gb vram .... and by applying ultra textures ,+ mods 12gb vram will definitely come in handy. ofc it will provide less fps than 4060 in some latest titles but it will be smooth and stable and atleast no texture blurrs or stutters.... and even framge generation needs more vram hence 4060 is already struggling on vram hungry games. the most + point of 4060 is its tdp and full av1 support. if 4060 had 12gb or 16gb vram then definitely it would be worthy but with 8gb vram and 128bit bus?! no

see here is where the argument falls apart, One you take time bitching about fsr3 on hellblade 2, but its a short segmate on a rather new game and you dont show case the same issues being present, it seems like you have an issue with one game not working right. so you have to try and make a case issue around one thing and try to be cool youtube dude and get clicks to make money. you just have a bias you refuse to admit.

Not just Hellblade 2. Also, Ghost of Tsushima and Hellblade 1 have visual issues bad enough to keep FSR off. In Horizon Forbidden West a lot of fine detail is lost when FSR is on but at least there are no immersion breaking visual issues (at least I didn't play long enough to encounter any). Still, the experience is too far from good. That's all the games I wanted to play recently. What's the point of keeping the GPU if I can't play the games I want? By the way, DLSS works well in all the games I mentioned above. So, I've returned the 7900 GRE and continue using my 4070 SUPER to enjoy my games. If you have an AMD GPU and like playing your games with FSR on then good for you. I urge you to share your experience with the community. I've done my part here.

The crappiest RTX 4070 Super vs an actual decent 7900 GRE. I know there isn't a whole lot of difference between models. I just hate the Msi Ventus design. It looks awful in my opinion. If it at least looked cool I would consider it. I tell myself once it's in the PC it won't matter how it looks. Once I see how well it games I'll be fine with it. And then I look through the glass side panel and can't stand what I'm looking at. PC gaming hardware is one of my favorite hobbies and I'm passionate about it. If you think you can get away with something you don't really like in this area of your life just stop. You can't do it. I don't mean PC gaming in general I mean in an area of your life that you're passionate about. If you sell yourself short on something you love you'll be sad. You won't be happy. I tried going to AMD and getting an RX 7700 XT and I wanted to be happy with it but I just couldn't. I had to get an Nvidia RTX 4070 Ti Super. Got the Tuf Asus OC model. Ive got to say games have so many lines now and so much stuff going on that anti aliasing use has gotten crazy. Or i mean aliasing in general in games. Its funny the more graphically demanding a game is the more flaws that come into play take alan wake as an example. When I got back into pc gaming i was shocked by the graphics but I also noticed all of the flaes, jaggies, noise, aliasing etc. Shimmering etc. But god its all worth it at the end of the day haha. Some games have come so so far. But akot of people get into high end gaming and get a little bummed because they think something is wrong with there pc but I want those people to know its normal! Dont look for perfection. You wont find it just sit back and enjoy. Also im sry but on a single player game even on a 4070 super its worth using ray tracing and dlss. Just use balanced dlss and crank ray tracing up. Enjoy! Imo when you play games like that you dont need 100fps. Not to mention with my testing ive found some ganes feel better at a stable 60fps compared to 200fps. People get way way to caught up into the fps. Way to many other things that play part in a smooth experience. Tedt it out dont try paying attention to frames all the time and try seeing which settings feel best for you. It may surpise you! Lol

Did you stop gaming when most games used MSAA and TAA wasn't a thing yet? That's what happened to me. And this video opened my eyes on the current state of Anti-aliasing tech and why we see so many visual imperfections in games - kzbin.info/www/bejne/jXibqGyPnJp1acksi=stIf5SRFPin7Od42
@reviewforthetube6485
@reviewforthetube6485 3 күн бұрын
@theivadim yeah that's exactly what happened and when I stopped. Anti aliasing is needed now so badly. But it makes sense aliasing will just get further worse the more lines and detaisl we get in games. So anti aliasing tricks will need to further advance. Without anti alising it's almost not tolerable. Do me a favor make a video on acc next. It's assetto corsa competitizione. That game will show yoy how bad aliasing has gotten. The shimmering, the jaggies the pop in and pop out all sorts of stuff. But it also shows you how good anti alising can work even if flaws still come through. But imo that's one of the best games to shoe how bad aliasing has gotten if you turn off anti aliasing. The biggest problem is now devs rely on this anti alissing instead of working on each piece and part. It's almost like a corner cutting technique. I wish they woupd go half and half where they used to build on each part and clean up certain areas but now it's all anti aliasing.

What people forget is that when you build a new rig, you should look at the TDP of the whole rig. In my case my new pc is 40w less than my previous pc was with a full new build and a way better gpu (3070 before and now 7900gre). In that case who cares about the higher power draw. At the end of the day you either want raw performance or you want ray tracing and dlss. I couldnt care less about dlss and ray tracing

fsr is still improving month by month . They will improve it but it will take years to reach dlss . Just like intel gpus and their drivers . So its not really good to compare them in q upscaling etc. Also dont forget that dlss and fsr give bad latency , so the game will be less responsive depending on the preset.

@allex975gaming
@allex975gaming 2 күн бұрын
@@mikymouse7525 idk what you mean by its not enough. But to make such technology requires time and because Nvidia will focus more into ai software instead of dlss and new gpus , amd will eventually catch up . Still , i haven't used fsr or dlss even though i owned both cards . I find the upscale feature bad for input delay and it makes the game look like more of a movie than a game . I prefer raw performance. The only thing for me is Nvidia has more games optimized for their gpus than AMD. Which makes raytracing very doable on most games . But in general if we want to compare , a 4090 is basically the best for raytracing since i dont think even a 4070 ti super can do raytracing in ultra 1440p at higher fps . So if we talk about Nvidia features, only if you buy a good gpu is worth it , other than that i dont think anyone should worry about it .

7900 gre is faster in raw perfomance with higher power usage. 4070 s is better in RT obv. and has better upscaling. But personally I prefer to play at native res, on these type of cards.. I feel like i pay a lot of money and then to use upscaling tech to get fps, when they already should deliver that target fps (idk 60, 80 etc..). Both cards are good. When i bought my 7900 gre was only because of the lower price than the 4070 super which was about 100 euros here so yeah. I would say, you can't go wrong with any one of them. Pick the one which is cheaper but if you want RT 100% just go with 4070 s.
@xtremefest7901
@xtremefest7901 Күн бұрын
For me I picked the super because you will eventually have to utilize upscaling on both gpus. And another major advantage at this price point and above is frame gen. There is no noticable latency with smooth fps. If I had to pick a gpu at a lower price point I'd always go with AMD because they are vastly better gpu with no competition from nvidia. They just need to focus on the FSR upscaler. Currently its bad compared to dlss.
