Those are so cute. They would be good to use as testers of colours or techniques before using on a larger item. If you did them with uv resin you could try out several ideas in a few minutes. And they are cute to boot.

Today was a classic with glitter and stuff being thrown around, and when the dust settled - GORGEOUS! They are all so unique and beautiful. I'm going to do the fabric thing :) Also, I loved the tip about the foil. I will never stir mine in the resin again.😊

Lol well the blue one was terrible up close. The foil - I dtir it in, burnish it onto the m ould, chuck it in and leave it - you get different effects whatever you do. It's gilding flakes yet I rarely actually gild haha. depends what effect you're after, isn't it good to know there are so many alternatives. It's worth having a play

Pocket hugs are adorable!!! You could even just put a paper heart on them if you are not adept at using resin. I, for one am hoping do learn to use resin some day, but so far have not been brave enough to give it a go. But, I do like the pocket hugs. And the resin ones are adorable, just wonderful! Good question, it's just glue dots :) I guess you could use regular glue but the glue dots are just so easy and mess free :)

I'd imagine it might be more controlled if you did the resin in layers and maybe laminated the paper ones if you don't want them to absorb the resin. However, they are lovely just the way they are.

depending on what cricut you have, there may be a setting for washi tape. it works well for thinner vinyls and papers.

Maker 3, yes it has a washi tape setting, I use it for stickers. I didn't think to try it on those papers, thanks for the tip! Hugs

Yes of course. I stand them upside down till as much as possible runs out, then clean them with Wonder Wipes. Alcohol sprayed onto kitchen paper works well too. Then leave them a couple of days before reusing too in case there's any residue still in there - it'll go hard so you can use the pot again

How did you find a heart that matched the shape so perfectly? I know how to size up or down but the mere are a million different heart shapes.

I created it in Cricut Design space, then shrank it slightly so it would fit just inside. The template is in my design space folder and the link is in the video info so you can grab a copy. I think Cricut are charging 99p for it, though I'm not adding a cut on top as I wanted to give to away free

Quick and cute gift to make people feel seen and appreciated. Love it! 😍👍 What would I do to make these? I'd probably have some fun with polymer clay! I can see making some mokumegane stacks (adding some foils maybe and lots of translucent clay), slicing them up thin and laying them out on a thin sheet of clay and then flattening it out to *really thin* to cut a bunch of hearts out of the sheets then baking them. Put them in resin to magnify the effects and you can make mini art pieces with very little actual materials and they'll turn out unique every time! 😉 BTW, you might want to try taking one of those little hearts with you to a papercrafts store and see if you can find an actual paper punch or die cutter that can cut the shape for you. Admittedly, with having the cutting machine, you don't really need it but there are some things the machine apparently can't cut so it might help.

good ideas there. There are punches for that shape but I can produce 27 at once on my Maker 3, so , easy peasy :)
