the side vents on the Lamborghini Mercialago are actually different from side to side on the real car hence why they are different in game. I believe this is because there is an oil cooler on one side and not the other. Also mentioned on top gear when it was reviewed.

And any car with less than 50bhp can be detuned significantly. Buy all upgrades and then exit the menu, detune the car to 50% (brings the car back down to around 50-75bhp) (note upgrades will still be on), remove upgrades and voila! A 30bhp 2008 Fiat 500 or a 11bhp VW Camper

Some variants of the MX5, more specifically the ones with the light brown tops actually have functioning reverse lights even though it is a non premium. Same thing for the standard old AE86s both Levin and Trueno are non premium but have functioning reverse lights! Something I recently found out when doing some time trial experiments on 80s japanese cars

They are "semi-premium". They have premium exteriors, being basically like a premium, but with a blacked-out interior. Don't know if that's the case for other "semi-premiums" as well, as I never even noticed standards had no functioning reverse lights. Don't they?

I know this thread is old and I haven't played the older games but I think gt sport was necessary to have gt7. Starting afresh next gen gt sport kind of had to be the foundations. I've seen how the older games had cars without interiors etc and that just seems really sub par. I have no doubt that the older games were great but imagining a newer, more polished version of the older games without compromise seems worth a wait to me.

@@user-fo1ow1jq3b how? It's easily one of the best games on the market. I can tell you in every other area of video games the standard for polish and value for money is a joke. When I got gt sport I was absolutely blown away. I couldn't believe how much was available and how polished everything was. All for a one time payment with free monthly updates to come. In any other area of the industry thats near on ludicrous and the games that do have decent value for money are considered needles in a haystack. It's a sad standard but it is a reality. Consider what was a flagship game for consoles aka destiny. You bought the game for $100aud (I can't be bothered converting), and then you're expected to make an extra $40 payment JUST to be able to keep playing the game for one season of content. That's over $200 for the lifespan of the game. There was no free content or tokens of good will. Hilariously the content wasn't even good mostly. So when I tried racing games my expectations were really shocked. A lot of the guys into these games don't know how good they have it. And while sure gt sport offers less content than previous titles it offers a good amount and it is GOOD. So long as you have other games to fill in the gaps where gt sport might be feeling a bit dry it's a phenomenal game and even when I take breaks from this game I alwaysss come back.

One thing I like which I'm not sure people know: The colors on each color category are not all alike, just having a different hue. They have differences. One which I really like is "Ebony Black", I think, from the Jaguar XKR-S '11. It's a basic color, but it's less reflective, almost like it's somewhere in between a normal color and a matte color.

I have a note: the reverse chapral 2j is not anywhere near the fastest you can go without glitching the game. Most supercars can pass 290 mph when modified and given a high-gear transmission tune, the top end red bull cars can all reach 300mph with no tuning, and the SRT Tomahawk X has a tunable top speed of more than 400 mph. however, the chapral 2j is the fastest possible car in reverse. second place is the citroen concept GT electric car, which can (with no modifications at all!) go 210 mph reverse.
