Thanks CGB! If there were ever a "spectacular" recruiting vid for Brawl, this is it. Especially intriguing for us 15-win per day free-to-play players. I still think I can get 15-wins faster using a mono-red, semi-burn, anti-boros aura deck in the play queue. I typically achieve 65% wins & am finished in 90 minutes. Thanks to WotC for guaranteeing me 65% mono-red / boros opponents in the play queue. Cheers to you CGB to opening my eyes to the potential in Brawl...Happy New Years! You're cool!!!

I will always be happy with very in-depth explanations on how to spend wildcards efficiently. I play without spending money, so I'm always trying to budget rare and mythic wildcards. The landbase explanation will definitely help me in the future when I'm looking to build multicolor decks. I've honestly stuck with mono colored and dual colored decks just to make sure I'm not spending all the wildcards on lands that aren't completely necessary includes, but now I've got both a bit of an idea to building budget landbases as well as (more importantly to me) solid reasoning to why it's being approached that way.

I watched your stream, I know you hate this commander lol. BUT I LOVE BRAWL CONTENT. Also, I really appreciate the long intros. Usually, I'm familiar with the deck and kind of skip through it - but when its something new and spicy it's great to see your thought process.

Great intro... I'm pretty sure lots of Arena players are getting frustrated with bo1 standard, and trying to figure out what next - brawl, bo3, explorer, some combination of these. You provide great context for figuring out where the fun is.

Id love to see your take on a Nalia De'Arnise party deck, mine is 30~ lands, Black Market Connections and Oketra Monument as the only non-creatures, and around 60-70 one-and-two drop Changelings, Warriors, Clerics, and Wizards, the only Rogue being Nalia herself to complete the party since having a full party usually means nothing without her. Its play Nalia early and then just play little creatures off the top and go super wide. Its vulnerable to removal and board wipes but its my go-to for quick wins, it's a lot of fun in its own way

loved the intro, especially pointing out generically good crafts. I was absolutely sleeping on Arms Scavenger, even tho Xander's Wake had already taught me long ago about the value of these repeatable spellbook cards in Brawl. card advantage is still card advantage, even when it feels like playing a booster tutor of starter deck cards

I would totally love that card, but indestructible is such an overkill for design like this. It is the same problem as it is with Teysa: you need to use very specific cards to be able to even interact with opponents commander, and if you dont, you get snowballed

I must be so dense as to not see it. Why is the shock land so valuable? I’m guess as aggro you’re trying to make other guys damage go burrr, so you are willing to pay the 2 and who cares but does having the mana fix come in untapped really swing a game that much?
@bki98403 күн бұрын
It's just the best option there is. Every other available dual is worse in some way, except the fetches, but the fetches need the shockland to be at their full power, so of course you would get the shock before the fetches.
@Xgya20003 күн бұрын
I'd say I like longer intros, but this was a bit too much for my taste. I tend to skip that portion of LVD's videos and instead only look at the large portions he splits the decks into (where he often explains a few useful combos as well)
