Idc your position this man is talking far too eagerly about his experience. Some people suffer unimaginable pain during these conflicts for whatever reason. No one should be seen as such easily discarded casualties for an overall giddy nostalgia project. The attitude at the very least is disappointing. Every action we carry out holds weight in the reaction that occurs. That should be remembered when associating with others in any regard. I would have liked to at least hear from someone who experienced hardship, who was disabled because of service, or ended up homeless, or with severe ptsd etc. Not surprised just disappointed.
