I don't need to THINK TWICE to say your video SERVED ME WELL as I was always IN OVER MY HEAD when it comes to understanding advanced phrasal verbs. BACK IN THE DAY, I was OK in grammar-WISE but terrible in speaking-WISE. I could not able to pronounce single words correctly LET ALONE saying a whole sentence properly. Knowing a little grammar really GAVE ME A FAlSE SENSE OF SECURITY when it came to exam as we had all four skills needed to be tested. Till I saw THE BIG PICTURE of my life where English would served me well, I decided to pour my effort in English. I hit all books and watch all videos recommend by seniors. Even for some weird things, I also GAVE THEM A SHOT. I EASED INTO simple English for almost a year. Sometimes, I had to NIP my laziness IN THE BUD. I WAS UNDER THE EXPRESSION THAT it's simple to learn foreign language regularly and consistently but I was wrong as it requires a lot of disciplines. And it may be not a big deal for me to spend 30 minutes a week to study but 30 minutes a day is A WHOLE 'NOTHER ANIMAL. Any way, FOR THE SAKE OF MY LIFE, I have to be fluent in English. Finally, Can I BOUNCE THE IDEAS OFF OF you who are reading my comment?

Carrying Dictionary apps on my phone give me a false sense of security to speaking english. Back in the day, i was under the impression that learning as much grammar as possible would allow me fluent in English. In early, its served me well but after, i soon realized that speaking english fluenty is a whole nother thing. In my 1st conversation in English, i was over in my head, i couldn't listen to and understand my partner, let alone speak correctly. After that, I think twice and consider the big picture and guess what, i nip it in the bud! Now Im trying to listen and speak more, i learn English for the sake of it, and i try my best every single day to ease into it. Be kind to yourself if you did wrong, if your pronunciation was a little strange, u should give it a shot. Hope i can buonce ideas off of u guys. Thanks Vanessa so much from Vietnam
