The characters, the story, the graphics, the jokes, the talks, the details, the chase scenes, the parkour, the adventure, the places, the fights, the puzzles, the drama, the hipe, they are more than just perfect! There are quite a few that deserve a place on the list. The sequence from Bulletstorm where you escape a huge wheel of death is epic to say the least. The snow speeder escape sequence from mw2 while short, is extremely cinematic thanks to Zimmers complementing soundtrack. Uncharted 2's opening to 'Urban Warfare' is exceptional, as is the chopper escape sequence later in the chapter. Rise of the tomb raider also features a chopper escape sequence of epic proportions.

I know The Last of Us was mentioned, but Tomb Raider and the Last of Us both, hell, anything from Naughty Dog has many, MANY noteworthy chase scenes. Three excellent chases that didn't make this list: 1. DmC: Devil May Cry - escaping a city that is actively trying to kill you, all by itself. 2. Bayonetta - the motorcycle sequence. Granted, the controls aren't the best. But dear God, the action! 3. Yakuza: Dead Souls - chasing a zombified yakuza boss who, for reasons explained in the prior cutscenes, is wearing a bathrobe, sunglasses, and a red ball gag. He was handcuffed to his desk chair, but managed to get loose. It may not be the most action-packed chase sequence there is, but the sheer absurdity of it had me laughing so hard I was crying.
