Not sure if you can fix this, but I've heard that red4ext now solves the redscript/RedMOD incompatibility. Cybercmd shouldn't be needed anymore and I've seen more than one person on Nexus say that mod actually breaks things now.

This is a nice list of mods. My only comment and it may be actually my own issue, but I have had issues with using CyberMods and mods using them, and as suggestion I have downloaded and tried using CyberCMD and when that mod is is installed the game flat out crashes. I would like to use some of the CyberMods but much more use CET and Redscript so I am using those mods instead. I've gotten to the point to where I install 1 mod at a time and test before installing another so I know for sure which mod is causing the crash.

Just to clarify, what do you mean by the term “CyberMods?” Now, since your game insta crashes with CyberCMD, that might be a conflict or a Redscript mod acting up. If you by chance have the ASI Loader installed, uninstall it. You don’t need it if you have Cyber Engine Tweaks. Final question, do your Redscript mods work without REDmod/cybercmd installed?

@@Apoqsi Yes and Yes. Whenever I have cybmercmd installed when launching the game I get a Compilation error that says REDScript complitation failed. The game will start, but none of the scripts will take effect. THis cause be errors in: and it list all my mods in my r6\scripts folder. When I delete the cybermd.asi file the game launches and all my redscript mods work.

Ahh, sounds like you’re running into a cache error then. Re-install Cybercmd and delete everything in the r6/cache folder, then verify game files. After that, the game should launch without errors.

That’s likely a caching error. Go into r6 and delete the cache folder and then verify the game files via Steam/GOG/EGS.

QUESTION: should i be concern at some level by modding too much and things start to break north and south, or even risking toasting my machine? I dont have a particular powerful pc and so far, im planning to install 14 mods. I dont know if this has any logic to this question, but most of them are barely 100kb in size, so... how stressful to my machine this may/gonna be?? Really need a help here, everytime i launch the game it doesnt go to the red launcher, it straight up launches the game, i need to launch the red launcher to turn on mods. In the game directory, everytime i launch the game a new txt file pops up called “REDEngineErrorReporter.exe-20230105-232633-43120-7408.txt”. Any idea at all on how to fix this? Question: Some mods I am looking to install are not in a ZIP, bin or any folder. It seems to be an individual 7Z file. It is not a REDmod, so I would follow the legacy mod instructions, but I am unsure where to place it.

You’d need to extra the .7Z archive with 7Zip or WinRar to access the files. It’s a compressed archive format to make download sizes smaller.

No. You’d need the version specific build for each mod.
