You know, for a few thousand you could buy a fishing boat with a small outboard and tow it to the lake with any old beater. You'd be in a craft designed for water and for comfortably fishing, and it would go faster than 6mph. You could even cruise in water with a current or a few waves.

The "Amphibious the bus is TOTALLY AWESOME I WANT ONE!! I'd turn that into a motor home..the #11? I think it was also the last one with the huge plane that's Amphibious #1 Whooooooot now that's a plane it's so practical because if one got turbulence they can land safely in the water and just float this is so AWESOME what a design.. also live the smaller plane before that last one the tail with the propeller is a really beautiful design. You should check also the Ripsaw from Howe & Howe technology. USA, Maine made track vehicule that's one of the fastest if not the fastest track vehicule available and in actual production. 65 mph, with a 6.6 Duramax turbo diesel. Little on the costly side at over $300k, but what a machine. Both for military and civil.
