Really moves along quite nicely, but, half the time the guns shown are not the one the narrator is talking about. Needlessly confusing if you are not a gun expert. It also completely ignores derringers and .22 short vest revolvers, which, more often than not, were the weapon most carried by the average citizen out west.

It was worth noting that the ‘73 Winchester rifle was also chambered in the same pistol calibers as the revolvers and made it eminently practical for the owner of both the rifle and revolver to have both chambered in the same caliber.

Dirty Harry did not carry a Ruger Blackhawk. He carried a Smith & Wesson Model 19 44 Magnum. Although the video reviews some of the most famous revolvers of the 1800's, the inclusion of modern firearms did nothing but confuse the gun that the narrator was talking about. As for as the 1873 Winchester lever action rifle, one of it's best features was never mentioned. The fact that it could be chambered in many assorted handgun rounds making it possible for it's owner to carry the same ammo for his rifle and revolver.

Imfo for the Blackhawk was in conplete it was also chambered in .44 mag. When you said .31 caliber cap and ball pistol they showed a picture of a .32 caliber cartage.

Until the development of the 44 magnum in the nineteen seventies, the 44 Colt Dragoon was the most powerful handgun in America! It was more powerful than the 45 Colt, or even the 44 Remington. And it was so heavy you could kill a man just by hitting him with it!
