Pretty cool! How good is it at generating a click to random song you stick in there?

Hi. I'm assuming you are talking about Rec'n'share? It depends on the song. As long as there are not sudden tempo or metre changes then you are ok. It works better with tracks with an even speed and time signature and an even pulse (it is will be fine with 4/4/ to 3/4 to 6/4 for example). It does cope with gradual tempo changes (such as live tracks speeding up) but it won't manage a prog track with ever time signature from 2/4 to 19/16 in it! If it is anything complicated then it is best to create a click in Cubase first and render the track with the click as part of it.

@@pasewaldt7690 I’d appreciate it! I figured out most of it today, I’ve got cubase recognizing my strikes and recording.. but there’s no audio playback. Been stumped for a while.

I have yamaha dtx 6kx drum kit. I was recorded song with rec n share app old version. It was nice experience. But i updated rec n share and started recording video with songs. Now latency is there. How to solve latency in rec n share updated version?

You are using Android. There is an issue with the latest V2 of Android Rec'n'share. This should hopefully be fixed very soon, but I cant tell you when I'm afraid. For those reading, the iOS version is fine, this is just Android.

I bought a DTX6K3-X and I’m shocked there isn’t an app to control the module. Just this rec n share app.

You mean 'just' the Rec'n'share app that allows you to record videos, remove instruments from tracks, change tempos, add clicks to songs etc? 🙂The editor app is on the way but not sure when.

I use dtx402k and the app always crash 😭

Thats the device crashing - not the app. Some devices cant handle recording audio and video separately which the app needs. Are you Android or iOS?
