Why the grease on the pads first time you sink it that grease is gone

Tbh I don’t do much mudding I’ve been more into dunes and trails, but the grease is just to help the pads move freely

Why would you lay a brand new rotor on the cement like that?

Have you seen how much sand and mud get on a rotor off-roading? Lightly setting it down on cement is not going to hurt a thing.

Ryan, I learned what I need to know about how to get the rotor off and I appreciate your instructions. There is a lot of noise in the video that is distracting and it cuts out and has no audio in several places. If you can fix that it is a plus. Please study up on hammers and their uses. Looks like you are using a Claw Hammer to pound bolts. Claw Hammers are tempered very hard and are designed to drive softer metal nails into wood. There is a danger of the hammer head breaking and sending metal pieces flying. Ball Peen hammers and other shop hammers are tempered to be softer and are safer to use. Take it from an old gray haired man who has see the consequences of using the wrong hammer. Thanks for the video!
