@@ArkansasOffroad Wish some other "Ozark Overland Adventurers" would do the same... Some people even have the nerve to sell the routes on their Patreon.
@ArkansasOffroad Жыл бұрын
@@DRockDreamin Well, I actually just launched a similar thing. I only give routes to top tier Patreon subscribers. I have found that the people that are truly invested into Overlanding and are willing to pay are usually right minded people, meaning they know to treat the forest with respect and will do right. I also make sure those people keep it to themselves and don't share anything. The Patreon thing is sort of a way to vet the right people in my opinion. It's when you blast out free routes to the general public that gets you in trouble. That's when things get ruined or shut down. But this whole trip, I didn't record a single route. I've done a lot of these trails before.

The way we do it in NH is we have a group with access to a map of all legal trails. If you want access, you have to actively participate in the community and apply to get access to the map. Which requires a couple scouting trips a year to ensure trails are still open. Don't do the scouting or participate, you lose access. None of that pay to play BS.

Sweet trip! The white tacoma got water in coils for the spark plugs that's why it sounded like it was miss firing used to happen to my sxs's all the time we would put dielectric grease in the plug coils and it would be fine in deep water.
@ArkansasOffroad Жыл бұрын
Was a good trip for sure! Yeah, apparently there was too much water inside the electrical connection of the fuel pump. I can see how water in the coils for the plugs would do that too
@Just_Ty_5111 ай бұрын

Little tip for the open diff guys when your straddling and have one wheel barely not touching tap that brake pedal on and off and it’ll get the wheel with traction to move a little vs throttling like crazy and hoping it does something hope that helps. 🙂👍 awesome videos I’m in Texas and I really hope I get a chance to go into the Ozarks this year!

Do ya'll carry wd40 for water displacement like in the mountain yota situation? Pretty sure it's water in the ignition system. If you suspect water intrusion spray it down with the wd40 and "dry" it out.

You need a “spotter mirror” for your side mirrors, way better than those circular mirrors.
@user-ej1bq4bq2w Жыл бұрын
Looking at your camera setup because I just realized the front cam playing on the mirror would mitigate the fact that I my mirror blocks my entire right side field of view. Friggin genius! I've never understood the need for a daytime running front cam but it would absolutely make a difference and I can't believe I'm just now figuring this out lol
