I had to stay late at work today. My little boy was ecstatic for my overflow of greeting when I got home. We played in the sink, did all sorts of scritchy-scratchy-petting, and even now in the kitchen making food, he is laying about 4 feet from me, mid-floor. Cats are royal creatures. They are often the top of the food chain and nothing preys regularly on cats. It's important to keep this in mind because this is why cats are so independent. It's best to let your cat choose when they want to interact with you. They will respect you for this and you might notice that they seem more appreciative of you when you show them that you won't pressure them and you are there for them when they want to be close to you. This is how I changed my family's relationship with our adopted cat who was very fearful and angry for the first few years that she lived with us. She noticed that I never pressured her to interact and eventually she became curious about me and started seeking my attention herself.

My last Cat loved me too - I could surely tell it was so. PuzzCat was the most loving and intelligent cat I have known, and I've enjoyed numerous cats as pets, each one lovely in their own way. Everyone said there was something special about PuzzCat. He was playful and so much fun. Two years ago he died in my arms, out of the blue, it turned out to be a blood clot. I will always miss my furry white companion. Blessings to you & to Sammie.

I had to rehome my baby boy (5months) today because the 2nd week when I got him (zoro) which was about only 1 month. He would forgive me by sleeping with me still loving me sitting on my lap when I’m working on my desk if you were, eBay lay on my keyboard, so I can see him and put them.. but I was noticing at certain times in the day, especially at night or sometimes in the morning he would act like he still afraid of me even though I haven’t raised my voice I’m very gentle and the reason why I yelled and scold him one time because I ordered his collar with the bill and has it came in yet under my bed, which is a queen size bed and it’s impossible for a cat to get out when they go in. I couldn’t find them when I woke up and I left the mattress. He was there hanging by his neck so I pulled him out. Body and I just said oh my God where were you do that again but in a very stern and scared voice long story short ever since then he’s been so unpredictable with that. I had to rehome him to a friend that has cats and I just miss him so much right now because all that stress was worth keeping him because I know he loves me because I gave them to my friend I had to talk with him and he understood what was going on and he actually cried tears but just the way he sounded I’ve never heard that before and made me cry and I’m still crying right now and it hasn’t even been 24 hours yet and he was my first pet, and it sucks for once I was a father figure to a kitten/baby. He’s such a loving boy, but he would always forgive me by liking me kissing me head butting me, but then at times I feel like he would get PTSD why it would walk pace. And one time he attacked me in my sleep so I had to call my friend yesterday and tell him if he can take him in for me. The bright side is that he said I could always take him back whenever I want but I’m afraid if I do, he might not remember meand that hurts the most. He loves family more than me because I did everything I said to routine I didn’t know what else to do because I love him so much that I want him to live a better life.

My Norwegian FForest Cat hated my ex-wife. I met my ex one week after I brought my Wegie home. Whenever she would go into heat she would spray my ex. When my ex would pet her my Wegie would get up and go elsewhere. My Maine Coon tolerated her allowing my ex to pet her but not too much. ALWAYS pay attention to how a cat responds to people. I started listening to the cats after my divorce They were right.

My kittie got a scare by some noisy kids who wanted to pet her when she was on my shoulder 2 days ago when a friend of mine and I took her out for a walk. She panicked. I had to calm her down while she was getting tangled up in her leash and harness. Gave me some hard bites during the havoc. Took a little while before we could carry on after getting some of my bloody hands dried up.
