I love the idea of social spaces. (open spaces) If I go to a game at T - Mobile in Seattle to watch baseball I never just sit in one seat for nine innings. I love watching the game from different angles. So many little nooks and crannies to have a dog or beer. It''s nice to visit the viewing area's during middle innings and enjoy the view of Mt. Rainier, the water or downtown.

It's just been confirmed that the whole area surrounding Ball Arena in Denver which is mostly parking and Elitch Gardens Amusement Park is going to be redeveloped into more unaffordable housing and a river walk with a lot of trendy businesses to make a big yuppie playground for the rich... Kroenke Sports and Entertainment, the owner of the Nuggets, Avalanche & Ball Arena have committed the teams to stay in the area through 2050 and have a heavy financial commitment to the development as well... Nothing has been said about replacing Ball Arena though.... I'm all about improving an area but improvement shouldn't have to mean make something out of reach for the average person to afford... Denver, Colorado has been guiltier than most over the last decade of this and really should be ashamed of themselves especially the Governor and the last few mayors.... Sorry I got a little off track but I just had to say it...

Winning team = high attendance Loosing team = low attendance 4 playoff attendances in the last 27 years. Why would you spend money on attending a game for a team that is popularly known from Palm Beach down to Key West as a loosing team, when you could spend it on: Florida Panthers - 4 consecutive playoffs appearances including a Stanley cup final. Miami Heat 25 playoff attendances in 36 years of franchise. 3 championships in the bag. Dolphins - Tua and McDaniel pumping up the franchise with 2 consecutive playoffs appearances. Inter Miami - Besides having the soccer GOAT in the team alongside other world champions, they already won Leagues Cup, and are currently leaders in their league’s division. For those blaming the traffic or the stadium location, just look at the attendance numbers for the recent 2023 WBC and 2024 Caribbean Series. To grow a fanbase, first you need to give them fans something. And the last time the Marlins gave a title to Miami, the Concorde was still flying.

Ottawa's problem is space. The capital has been built up over the past 150 years into a very dense concentration of government buildings, embassies, hotels, museums, housing, and parks, with little to no room for even a relatively small NHL arena. That is why CTC was built in the nearby suburb of Kanata in the first place.

Here we go again with the slamming of Anaheim Stadium. Funny thing, none of us in the OC, IE, or the San Gabriel Valley dislike the venue. Want to ruin attendance and make things worse?
