15 Strongest Marvel Heroes Who CAN'T Lift Mjolnir

We all know that Mjolnir comes with a major enchantment that only allows a few select worthy people to properly wield it. So far, in the MCU, that list is relatively small, with characters like Thor, Vision, Captain America and now Jane Foster all proving they were worthy and picking up the hammer. Sure, in Vision’s case, it’s a little iffy but we’ll let it slide for now. Because I want to focus on something else in this video. I want to talk about all the fantastic, inspiring, fun heroes who simply can’t lift Mjolnir. Why is that? Well that’s what I want to discuss today!
Spider-Man has the heart of a true hero and could very well be close in being able to wield Mjolnir, but I think his guilt over all the loss he’s experienced would prevent him from picking up Thor’s favorite weapon. Iron Man is an all-time great hero and arguably Earth’s greatest protector, but come on, there was no way he was lifting Mjolnir with all his arrogance and ego right? And Doctor Strange? The Sorcerer Supreme would definitely fail in that same task for much of the same reason as Tony!

Like shown in WandaVision, she can't "rewrite" reality that way,the main default components of the reality she rewrites still remain (like the kevlar comparison), so she won't/shouldn't be able to rewrite the spell on Mjolnir coupled with the fact that the MCU is treating their gods power levels really good right now so undoing a Skyfather's magic will be next to impossible

In “Thor” Odin says “it is a fit companion for a king” and characters I’ve seen to be like a warrior and a king, and I’m sure Odin would see worthy are Thor, Captain America, Captain Marvel, the Ancient One, Black Panther, Xu Wenwu, Hela and Thanos, not all of whom tried lifting it. I’m sure Thor, Captain America and Captain Marvel wouldn’t have died snapping their fingers like Iron Man if anything those three would have ended up like Hulk and if Captain America did it that would have made it fine for him to spend the rest of his life in the shadows with Peggy otherwise I now see Captain America as someone SHIELD wasted their experiment on.

pretty much all of the reasons are being nullified by the fact that Hela held the hammer (it didn't fall out of her hand, bringing her hand down like it did with Hulk, for example, when he caught the hammer and was thrown on the floor with it) when enchantment was already on it

1) Here's an interesting idea, how about Groot? He sacrificed himself, or at least everybody thought he did until he returned as a sapling. Can't think of anything he's done wrong, other than maybe be part of the Guardians, who have at times been little more than space pirates with heroic tendencies. 2) As for Hulk, I'm not sure if it is canon or not, because it was an episode of a cartoon, but once the Avengers were trying to contain Hulk when he was raging, during the fight sequence, Hulk tries to pick up Mjolnir and fails. This makes him so angry, that he tries again, with both hands, and he actually does it. He then throws it at Thor, not truly wielding it, because he's not worthy, just so damn strong he was throwing it like any other thing he would throw, like a chunk of concrete or something. The end of the scene was a bit suss though, because they get some medicine that Banner had been using to self medicate and keep Hulk from emerging, and Black Widow jumps on his back and jams the syringe with 20 times the usual dose into his upper back/shoulder, then leaps away to safety. Hulk is bulletproof, the syringe should have crumpled like tin foil unless it was made of adamantium. Good fight sequence though.

I don't see why feeling "guilty" of something makes you unworthy. I mean, it depends on what you feel guilty of. You can feel guilty of not saving everybody, but if it's physically impossible to save everybody, it does not make you a bad person. If you feel guilty of murdering someone by pure madness, then you are not worthy. For sure, other things makes someone not guilty.

Reed, no. Too full of his own intelligence to where he ignores advice from the others. Sue, I am not sure about her just because Reed's neglect often causes her to seek comfort elsewhere.

Worthy is a relative term. Instead of comparing all heroes to a unmentioned scale, the thing to do is to compare them to Thor Captain America. If Thor and Captain America are worthy, despite all their bad decisions, actions, and personality traits, then any hero who matches up to them are worthy as well.

Why doesn't anyone point out that Odin also wielded Mjolnir, and therefore must be worthy...then again, he's the one who put that enchantment on the legendary Hammer of Thor. But what qualities does the enchantment require to determine "worthiness"? The Marvel character of Thor certainly has his faults. He's arrogant, often hedonistic, skewed towards seeking vengeance, and a bit of a buffoon. It's clear that Asgardian ideals are somewhat...alien, despite their similarities to our own.
