On the topic of confidence regarding wardrobe... you don't have to give a damn if people think you wear cheap clothes. I promise. Admittedly i'm not rich by any stretch, but i couldn't care less who thinks my clothes are cheap. You might think I'm only reinforcing what has been said, but the angle presented in this video would suggest that (fill in the blank rich celebrity) loses prestige because they happen to be wearing "common cheap" clothes. My wardrobe is either cheap as free or company issued, every bit aside from socks and underpants. But you can bet every inch of your self that ... Chris Hemsworth.... wearing the exact same thing would make it suddenly fashionable. Are you comfortable/not subjecting yourself to hypothermia? That's all that matters, just don't go walking around naked.

About 'Clothing'... People like to wear different things so a few classic items are good to have. However, you can save money by not buying everything that is 'Expensive'. You can have more for less and change it out or add to it And still save money! 🎉Actually, 'Books' are accessible for Free at a place called "Library'... ❤ Definitely Think for yourself & Pray for wisdom. All channel ideas aren't necessarily good but rather promote overspending... Also Beware of mental health counsel. They often put people on medications that they don't need and that may cause permanent problems mentally & physically. If you have addictions... Get help. Also, replace with healthier solutions... *Subtracting from our lives and what we do can have more positive results than adding 'More'. Thus the idea that 'Less is More'. Example: Less Spending, More Saving...=more money.

Networking. It doesn't have to be formal, just stay in touch with people you meet, especially in your job fields. I get so many interesting work gigs simply from people I know, many of them not that well. I have a stash of business cards with simply my name on, then I can write in whatever method of communication or phone number. It seriously works.

This all made sense until the "reliable" car. Yeah . . . . absolutely not. That alone is the single thing that keeps the OVERWHELMING majority of middle class earners from getting ahead of the savings curve. Of course a truly reliable car is valuable for most people, but that buzzword "reliable" is the excuse that 90% of broke people use as an excuse for maintaining overly expensive, new, vanity motivated vehicles. Cars never ever did anything for anyone except COST them. As soon as you hear the term investment used in connection to automobiles, you know you're listening to a charlatan or a fool. Obviously vehicles used for business are an exception, but if all your car carries is people, it's a cost, a liability, not an investment.
@Miner-dyneАй бұрын
Absolutely true! A great plus would be to invest in learning how to repair things on your car. It let's that beater be a reliable car for far longer. Not dropping $750 taking it to a shop when a $100 part is all that needs replacing can save a bundle over time. The other wealth killer is borrowing money to buy a car.

Putting well-earned money into the stock market can be over emphasized for first-time investors, unlike a bank where interest is sure thing! Well, basically times are uncertain, the market is out of control, and banks are gradually failing. I am working on a ballpark estimate of $4M for retirement, and I have a good 6-figure loaded up for this, could there be any opportunity for a boomer like me? I'm nearly 60.

Very true, people downplay advisors role, until burnt by their mistakes. I remember just after my layoff early 2020 amidst covid outbreak, I needed to stay afloat, hence researched for license advisors. Thankfully, I came across someone of practical knowledge, and decades of experience, my stagnant reserve of $325K has yielded nearly $1m after subsequent investments so far.

Buy good properties, houses or flats, to rent out. This will bring in an ever-increasing income for the rest of your life, keep you in touch with younger people and their lives, and by being a good landlord and employing cleaners, plumbers and electricians you add to society in a meaningful way.

In eight years, I have bought four cars spending roughly $8000. A reliable car is important but spending money on a car is not. I feel like this point was poorly addressed
@movingforwardeveryday-d3gАй бұрын
So you averaged $1000 a year for cars. How much for repairs and downtime? If there wasn't much of that, you did well. If not, you didn't. The total cost after repairs and downtime is the most important one.
@dingusdingus2152Ай бұрын
A car is a money pit no matter what. If you drive any kind of car or truck your budget will hemorrhage money. This is an unavoidable fact of reality. There is no such thing as a reliable, dependable car. New or used, they are all shoddy garbage and they will ALL break down, and the cost of repairs will stun you. The car is going to be one of the biggest money drains you have. Resign yourself to accept this fact
@antilogismАй бұрын
That and insurance. If you own the car, and have an emergency fund, you can save a huge amount by dropping collision insurance. Something you can do with a bank-owned car.

Does learning AI ML engineer skills are considered to be high earning skills, you mentioned about graphic designing and coding skills are worth it to learn this time and age. In Latest IV, Jensen Huang said we don't need to learn coding, recently cocacola hired AI team for advertisement creation (many graphic designers are not needed). So my question is what is the actual high value skills to learn. You're answer can be helpful
