I like refinishing old furniture and misc other pieces. So I spend on my “paint and varnish” center and I buy up old quality furniture or other wood pieces, usually at the thrift stores or just trading around on FB Marketplace.

I love the list and agree with many. I tell my college age daughter for years quality shoes and bras. Great foundations are so important.

#10 for sure. Like you we have 4 kids and my days. The yuk under their car seats when we take them out. I just dunno how they do it. And we're about spend a huge amount on our garden to make it more usable. I'm so torn about it but the kids will benefit so much.

The garden updates sound great! I don’t think you will regret the money spent. We have always said when we buy land the first things we are building are a swing set and a play house. 🤣

Would it be possible to get some kind of idea of what your budget looks like? It’s just my husband and I now and a one income family. I want to be able to start paying credit card debt. I feel like no matter how much I pay it never seems to be enough.

I always buy good make up that suits my skin rather than the $2 lipsticks and foundations etc. The others wear better and last longer
