Having lived in Switzerland for 10 years, I would just like to clear a few things up. Switzerland is not a gun loving country, guns that kept after military service. The people with guns have to be tested to see if they're still able to shoot well for many years after their military service, however live ammunition is highly regulated and is only possible to acquire and fire and a shooting range. Switzerland is also a little more strict about the laws on cannabis. If you're caught with a small amount the police may over look it, but usually the police are pretty strict and will definitely fine you (especially if caught smoking it). The Drinking age in Switzerland is 16 for beers and wines, however to purchase liquor, you must be 18 years of age. Was glad to see you finally gave Switzerland the love it deserves on this channel :)

nope. Only some supermarkets want you to be 18 to buy alcohol. But by law you are allowed to buy it with 16. just go to a kiosk and you want have any problems there. Or small markets, no problem either.

Connor Jones thats not quite true We can buy al kinds of weapons even anti material .50cal rifles with a gun license which is very easy to aquire Ammunition and bolt action rifles are even easier to buy because u just need to show ur criminal record and dont even need a gun license

Yes a lot of swiss citizens do have a gun at home. This is due to the fact that every male swiss citizen has to do the military service, but most of them don't use it regulary or do have any ammunition at home.

Zu meiner Zeit hatte ich immer Munition zum STGW zu Hause. Auch danach habe ich bis heute immer noch ein Sturmgewehr und auch die nötige Munition dazu. Hin und wieder gehe ich auch damit auf den Schiess-Stand. Nicht jene, die regulär ihre Dienstwaffe oder privaten Waffen haben, sind das Problem, sondern jene, die solche eben illegal, rechtswidrig haben.

and also with a wage of 68'000 dollars you're not having one of the well-paid jobs in switzerland, you'd be a little above average, which is 58'000. The average wage if you have a university-degree is 124'000CHF. The dollar to CHF exchange rate is 0.9940. Teachers earn much more than 68'000 a year, that's what you get for being a policeman in training lol. The highest paying average wage is apparently for workes in the tobacco industry and that is 264'000CHF.

Cannabis IS legal to up to 0.7 % THC get yourt facts straight before you make a comment :) and you wont get fined unless you have over 10 gramm on you. But IT IS Legal to some extent.

yes you earn there much money, but it's also a very hard working country and the prices are there so much expensive, that we swiss only go 1-2 times per month in restaurants, even if our salaries are very high. So you can live there a high quality standard, but at the same you also have to learn, to save money.
