I just exchanged my BMW for a Toyota. What I found is that my ex BMW was perhaps giving me some sort of status, but my Toyota is giving me reliability.
@ryanweirdworld4 жыл бұрын
Your BMW had soul, Toyota is just a car. To each his own but completely different. BMW is not a status symbol for enthusiast but a lifestyle, Toyota is around for when the BMW breaks down. Engines are top notch, just everything else breaks around them.
@dflob89404 жыл бұрын
Same here, even tho i gotta say. The BMW drove more comfortable, faster and more enjoyable. But was way more expensive in every way and less reliable. BMW does make good cars, but they use way to much electronic stuff and plasic parts that break and cost a fortune. Even if you earn good a BMW is not a good choice, if you plan on keeping your car longer than 10 years. There are better ways to spend money.
@jake96713 жыл бұрын
@@ryanweirdworld You talk about soul but how can a BMW be as soulful as a Toyota? Tell me one car that has as much soul as a Toyota Supra? People compare BMWs to some Corollas and its just plain wrong.

To me, the most impressive fact you've presented here is that 85% of all Toyotas are still on the road after 20 years and that percentage is 90% for Camry. Let that sink in for a moment...

My 1994 Toyota Celica GT hatchback 5 Speed manual ..... now has 225,500 + miles on it and runs like a CHAMP !!!!! Phenomenal !!! I purchased it from the original owner on January 8, 2000 .... and still use it as my daily driver and recently drove 2,604 miles ..... on a single trip over 4 1/2 days .... from Bend, Oregon to N. Tonawanda, New York ( near Niagra Falls ) .... and it was PERFECT !!!! Very pleased over the 18 + years that i have used this car ..... it just keeps going .... and YES, i do keep after it with LUCAS Products and sensible maintenance over the years. I am bummed though .... that on 9-11-2015 i was rear ended by two teenagers ..... and it now is crunched in the rear ..... yet the lights all work .... and I still keep driving it everyday ..... you'd never know it was wrecked into if you drove it .... as it just runs AWESOME ..... in spite of the rear collision. It ain't pretty anymore, yet this car runs for sure !! :)

Another interesting Japanese company to do for a future video is Mitsubishi. That is an interesting company, as they do not only produce automobiles, but airplanes, air conditioning systems, forklifts, and many other products that I am sure people do not know about. Anyway, I was surprised that this 15 Things About Toyota video, there was no mention that Toyota manufacturers forklift trucks and also Toyota continues to produce sewing machines. I think those would have been two great facts to have included in this video. Oh, and Toyota had a sub brand in North America called Scion, which unfortunately, Toyota canned it's Scion brand last year, due to poor sales. I hope this helps add more facts that people did not know about Toyota.

15 unknown things are interesting, if you like to know them. Drive Toyotas for over 14 years now. They're okay, no, they're good. Especially the hybrids, among them the Prius is the best. Had an Prius 3 after 2 Avensis Diesel. Now a Prius 4. Also like the newly released Camry Hybrid in Germany but will keep the P4 because of its better use for my needs. E-cars may be the new hype in cars. Think that hybrids are still on the top of the game even in the future for those, who can't and don't like to charge an e-car very often, despite their being too expensive, mostly not practical enough. Not to mention how they will run after many years. The Prius has proven its reliability and efficiency. It will run without any problems for many years to come. This is not an unknown thing, its a fact for those who know.
