Any champion who pulls out of a scheduled fight less than two months prior or fails to make a scheduled defense within four months of their last fight should be stripped of their title. It doesn't have to be punitive, you can still give them a chance to reclaim it at the next title fight opportunity, but it has to happen. Divisions shouldn't be stuck waiting on individual fighters.

If Khamzat pulls out of another fight, I will sort of give up on seeing him again. His new name is Khamzat McGregor. This is the biggest waste of talent in the UFC that I have ever seen. Way more so than Chandler waiting three years. Khamzat hasn't fought much more than that. We've have one fight in the last three years? Something like that. Everyone I built up to my friends as stars like Masvidal, Usman, Khamzat, Colby, Jon Jones, etc already had one foot out the door. I had no idea that all those dudes were pretty much done. Besides Jon Jones, I don't think my new MMA friends could pick any of those fighters out in a line up. I had no idea we were turning the corner towards Stone Hands and Taporia. Luckily Max Holloway made a big statement and everyone knows him of course. The landscape changes fast.
