CPA here. Accounting will not and cannot be replaced by AI completely. Fundamentally, accounting is not solely about computations. There is also A LOT of judgement. It always requires context and discretion to make informed conclusions from the financial data. For example, an Al system can take care of data entry and may identify a strange expense, but without additional information and scrutiny, it cannot determine whether that expense is legitimate or fraudulent. Same thing with provisions/accrual estimates.
@cdnsilverdaddy10 ай бұрын
naive.. it will be replaced... modal AI
@RetoB19769 ай бұрын
I agree with you Anna. Accounting will not get replaced by AI, but Accountants will have to develop to more something like Financial Mentors or Advisers to Business Owners to help them understand the financial data to make better business decisions. Another point is that Accountants will help Business to automate their workflows.
@jfkst18 ай бұрын
Surely you can understand that it doesn't take a complete replacement to put a job market into dire straits. Data entry itself isn't "completely" replaced. However, the difference in opportunities now compared to 20 years ago is profound.
@1merkur8 ай бұрын
Pfft, AI crushed 3D protein structures (accountant isn't likely to understand the complexity of this), mathematical proofs, high legislative task, medical diagnosis...accounting is walk in the park for AI. The only reason accounting won't be replaced is the "creative accounting" that the top 1% want, in order to evade taxes, embezzle funds, launder money, etc. It's hard to bribe AI to do it.

I completely agree. These are just predictions, and even though Chat gpt is available for around year, there are still copywriters who make thousands of dollars despite we have chat gpt that will write you copy in a few seconds. But if you are niched, and you cooperate with copywriter specialized and saavy in that niche, chat gpt wont replace him.
@-laura11 ай бұрын
Hi, agree and disagree. Depends what do you mean by new, AI is here for at least 3 years, some people still don’t know about AI and just start to play with it. Some people as me use it often, because it is like google, but faster… AI is still getting better and a lot of big companies use AI or plan to use it in their products. I believe it will be hard to come with “real” ideas because AI was honestly a bit trashy a year or two ago, now it is a LOT better sometimes unreal. So in case of lets say some designs, it is easier and cheaper to tell AI what you want and it will create it in few seconds, no artist can draw beautiful images in few seconds and redo them in less than a minute. So people will need to be extremely creative and ideally fast. I am not saying these people won’t exist, yes some may be more valued if they are creative, but a lot of people can a most likéy will be replaced by AI, because why would some company hire a person if AI can do it as they want, faster and cheaper. AI is not just ChatGpt there is a lot of engines. Some people say AI is like internet when it started, it brought new jobs, some jobs don’t exist anymore and it changed a lot. A lot of people will use AI because it makes their job easier and faster done. When I was choosing high school(around 10 years ago) I said almost same thing as in this video, IT and health care and pharmacy will be needed. And land and housing will be very expensive.

I was pursuing entrepreneurship and loved it until I experienced the reality of economic changes, it brought so much worry to me because of instability and yes we can keep hoping for the best and working hard, but if the economy is at a down period it can affects small businesses and unfortunately we have no control over that. I decided to go to college again and it was the right thing to do as I saw the major tech changes and the way the future generation operates, it was a very big change even compared to 10 years ago when I was in college. I decided to pursue something in healthcare and I came across this video and your #1 is in healthcare. Guess I'm taking this as a sign to commit to my decision and leave the past behind.
