This describes my Dad. He has wasted so many opportunities and hurt so many people that now he's completely alone. He looks wealthy but owns nothing debt free. This video is very personal for me. I found Alux after I made the promise to myself not to be like him. Now I'm on my journey and in many ways Alux is one of the lights that guides me. I don't have to write 'Purpose' in the comments. My whole life is purpose and I know at the end when I tell my story people will listen and say, "you did good my friend, you did good."

20 years ago, I participated in a 10 day seminar in the mountains on "Men's Leadership" (yes they have a women's one too)... One of the first points they made is that our primary example of a "man" is our father and we spend our lives trying to be like him or not be like him. After that seminar, I spent as much time with my father as I could. I watch and learn. There are some traits of him I've adopted I like, many I don't, I change those. There are some traits of him I rejected that I later learned have value. My point is, rather than the blanket statment, "... not be like him..." consider the idea of learning what aspects of him you want to take on and those you don't. After 20 years, I'm still figuring it out, the journey never ends. It's part of #5 in the video, finding your identity!

This video reminds me of my Dad. He was a devoted Dad of course. However, his many toxic behaviours affected my two sisters and me so much. For me, his toxic and abusive actions had made me a minimized guy, though I put an enormous number of actions to lift myself off of his toxic circle. I learnt a hard life how to stand alone amongst the extremely toxic family and two bullying sisters. My sisters seemed to inherit many toxic and abusive traits from my Dad: bullying, emotionally manipulative, aggressive, envious, blaming other for their mistakes, and negative thinking. To be honest, at some point of my life, I had been infecting with those toxic traits for a period of time. However, the society which I chose to exist slowly cured my toxic sides, thank them so much for changing my life. I understand that there are many inferior people next door to me. However, I know the way to prevent them from intervening to spread their toxic behaviours on me as I absolutely deny to be the next idiot because of my proximity with the toxic family.

There are no superior or inferior men, only superior and inferior traits. And with all things, those traits can be learned--and unlearned. We are all living in flux; no man can fulfill his purpose without constantly adjusting his sails and reevaluating where he is in the present.

But what makes one man inferior to another? Inferior traits. Gotcha atheists.
@therrendunham55943 жыл бұрын
@@abacaxisalgado4968 Simple: The way one perceives those traits. And that is not a function of morality or religious belief in and of itself, but more or less that of what one values in his world.
@abacaxisalgado49683 жыл бұрын
@@therrendunham5594 I was being sarcastic, about the atheist thing lol. i respectfully disagree, i do not care what one perceives or sees. I care of what it is: facts. Fire is hot, water is wet, no matter how some may perceive differently on those two elements, they will be wrong. But maybe you can show me otherwise.
@therrendunham55943 жыл бұрын
@@abacaxisalgado4968 Fair enough (and your sarcasm is noted). YES, fire is hot and water is wet, but that's how we perceive them to be; these elements have no concept of heat and wetness; they simply exist within the universe. Accordingly, when we are born, we also lack an understanding of such traits; we only react instinctively to what makes us feel a certain way (whether it be hot, wet, happy, or something else). We had to be taught how to define certain things--we had to learn what hot and wet are--before we could act accordingly (or at least articulate our feelings in a manner that garnered the response we wanted). So when we discuss certain things in absolutes, I feel that's a fallacy. A diabetic with severe nerve damage isn't likely to feel the heat coming off a hot stove. (Does that make her inferior?) And a person who grows up acting a certain way may not realize the inappropriateness of those actions unless he finds himself in a different environment. That's not to refute that there are indeed good and evil people, but for the vast majority of us, it's situation specific.

The inferior man is an abusive, broke, competitive, disrespectful, intimidated, restless individual who lives in his car. He tends to stalk those he envies, shows up unannounced and uninvited to get 15 seconds of dopamine, and steals ideas not to implement for the betterment of his growth but to create the impression this idea originated with him. It is so disappointing when you finally find out the intent of the inferior man. The way out is to stand firm, learn to say NO, avoid him altogether, and let him know you have a purpose without being confrontational or, better yet, as the saying goes, “Fool me once, shame on you. What did I do? I let them be, and distanced myself from them and focused on me and my goals. As a result, I really ramped up listening to the Alux podcasts and have been working the follow the advice being given. I am focusing on my success, I re-invented myself as one of the videos/podcasts described and it is a work in progress, but it has been progressing non the less. In the end, I left their negativity in the past and have not looked back. And because of that I have been happier

These are all true. The problem is, they forgot one important one. If you feel the need to become a billionaire, you are ALREADY an inferior man. If you DO become one, you will find that all the listed traits will disappear, and you will become an arrogant, pretentious jerk who ignores the world issues. Just look around folks ;) No great man needs to be a billionaire, it is a sign of true insecurity.

My children say I’m extremely negative. My son just had a falling out with me and banned me from his home. I am, in many respects, becoming very unhappy with my life, wife, and children yet we all are successful. I’m no longer respected by my family. Guess I’ll have to walk the rest of this life journey alone.... if I could have done things differently, I most certainly would have. Certainly makes leaving a will and funeral services easy. lol

You say "we're all successful" but becoming very unhappy with your life and your family doesn't respect you. By what measure do you consider yourself successful if you don't have a warm and loving family life? Is it career and money?

@@dreamtree529 Financial Success, but not like Wealthy. My wife and I are retired and our children have great jobs. I’m very crass and difficult to talk to and very inflexible. And I don’t take any shit from anyone especially my kids. That’s the way I was raised. Old school mindset in a new age..

@@GMack224 I am so sorry to hear about your experiences. But have you considered doing something to change how you relate to your loved ones? We can always change if we are willing to do so. Counseling could be helpful. You need unconditional love and Jesus is able to help. Are you aware that Jesus Christ loves you very much and deeply cares about you and you need Him? Please consider inviting Jesus into your life as your Lord and personal Savior ♥️❤️

Ngl almost every man I've met describes this. Only alphas are the depicted as strong. Yes alphas are the strongest but some non-alpha males are strong as well.

It does not matter whether a man or a woman , everyone within his heart , mind or intuition ( alongside our divine aspects within ) would know if he or she is doing good deeds or not . A moral in a poems called A man in the glass gives the moral that man ( a human being whether male or female ) may deceive all people thinking he or she are superior and cheering for him or patting on his or her shoulders but only the person( who sees images of himself or herself reflected on glass screen like a mirror ) knows well whether he or she has done good deeds or not . Your divine higherself can not be deceived ...

So if im the inferior man based on the attributes provided I would be trapped as an inferior due to the fact I believe im a superior what a paradoxical existence

Lotta parallels here to the behavior/demeanor of a (covert/Machiavellian) narcissist (NPD/cluster B disorder)...& yes, Ive dealt w my share of these types from both sexes...theyre not just inferior, but toxic/acidic to the core....
