I've been scouring this channel for years and learning everything I can. Since then I was stuck in a dead end job with little to no prospects. I had no idea how to even start to improve myself. As of today I still devour all your content and I'm proud to say that I've started a business last year and it's going great. I've read most of the books you've recommended these helped me change my entire identity into a strong motivated confident individual. I've started to travel the world and my mindset is completely changed. In the past two years I've become debt free to which I was enslaved to for 10 years. This is the first month Ive dropped the chains of modern day slavery. Debt. I can even notice my friends try to emulate my way of thinking and the way i carry about myself. It's all due to this channel here. You guys helped me reshape my destiny. From a poor minset, heavily financially indebted lowly individual to an entrepreneur who has his own business and is steadily increasing in wealth. Thank you Alux! You've changed my life.

I hope one day or maybe sooner I’ll be posting the same comment in one of those Alux’s videos. I’m happy to hear that and happy for you from bottom of my heart, keep going and wishing you the best ahead. :)

I started watching Alux many years ago. I was living in a 3rd world country, earning a low-paying job, and treated like a slave (no work-life balance!) back then. Then I decided to follow many items in Alux's 15 lists. I tried my best to engineer a better future for myself (wrote it in a journal!). Day by day, year by year, I find myself in better situations than before. I migrated to Canada 4.5 years ago and last week have just become a Canadian citizen! My salary is way better than before (I'm now earning more than my bosses in my past jobs) and I believe have a brighter future ahead! I may not be super wealthy YET, but I'm happy to say that my dreams and goals got way BIGGER! Thanks, Alux! See you at the TOP!

Every day is not the same and you can not loose at life unless you plan to do that. If you measure yourself from 10 years ago to today, you are not the same person. Even if you did the same thing which is impossible to do. Yes you may have woke up at the same time, took the same road to work everyday, ate the same food, impossible. Even coke and cornflakes from 10 years ago are not made the same way. I don’t know you, but I’m guessing that you don’t make the same amount of money you made 10 years ago even if you are working for the same employer. It’s cute to repeat the same thing that they are saying here at Alux. But not everything they say is 100% right. The Buddha said; Don't blindly believe what I say. Don't believe me because others convince you of my words. Don't believe anything you see, read, or hear from others, whether of authority, religious teachers, or texts. Believe only what you through your conscious thinking and testing arrive to.

+1 Being brutally honest with myself, my life right now is a 2. The only thing keeping it from being a 1 is the comfort I'm living in the house of my middle class parents. Otherwise, I have nothing in life. You were right about where I live determines my life because it is draining me to the core. I'm highly motivated to do nothing because I have no high standard people around me. I have no qualms about describing my biggest excuse because people don't act without any reason.

Living in the suburbs past college is mind numbing. That comfort you feel at home is your dreams dying a slow death. I stayed at home Way too long. Being around my parents mentally handicapped me in ways I couldn’t explain until I left. Make peace with being uncomfortable and find an adventure! Pick a city and make a move. You can always come back. I went from the suburbs of Massachusetts to Miami and it changed my life. I believe in you stranger on the internet, you got this!

I have learned to say NO to everyone who thinks my time is their time they can use. It's liberating and frees me from unnecessary emotional and financial stress I just don't have right now to give. Plus one! There’s so much that I received of what you said in this video and it makes me want to work harder on being better for myself and others around me! I have been working on helping others when I can with little things but when seeing peoples reactions, they seem big! A smile is a great thing to many people that I work at daily but it doesn’t help suspicious people! Sad! My girlfriend and I are working on our business together and want to use it to help ourselves to be better off in our future! We look to help others along the way! We work at not being dragged down from people and the world but it can get tough, that’s life! We tell each other that we’re a team and we work together to overcome as much as we can as a team! What may become an obstacle to each of us, we must work to get over, through or around it! I always speak of our aging and what we need to do to be healthy as we grow old so that we may enjoy our older bodies and our financial freedom that we’re working towards! We’re getting there and with your informative, encouraging videos, you’re helping! Thanks!

A couple of years ago you guys made a video in which you said that a quality of people who won't achieve greatness in life is that they'll marry someone who lives nearby, I actually agreed to that point ever since but now I don't agree to it anymore. To be happy we need someone who understands us and our culture and the best place to find someone like this is somewhere close by where you love and in and around our extended family

+1, Being brutally honest with myself here, my life literally sucks right now. I fail in all my relationships, especially one with my friends. I had a one-sided love in my high school, and I regret it to this day why I didn't propose her. Also, I talk with my friends ( rather I should say people whom I know) , only at times when it is absolutely necessary. At times, I feel paranoid about my friends, like will I never have a true friend who understands me and relates to me?

Everyone should really try it sometime. 2. World travel and I don't mean to easy places. Try the Mid East and East Asia. Learn what the world is really like. 3. Raised our 2 grown sons to be independent thinkers. They may not agree with everything I say and think and I love it. My older son just got his first patent and is well on his way. 4. Invest invest invest. Delayed gratification. I'm at an age at which I am starting to reap benefits and it is pretty great. 5. Every one of these couldn’t be more true. I’m going on 53, had no parents and didn’t know any better about anything, growing up, & had addiction issues until 20 years ago. I always only focused on the present until I was in my early 20’s, when I somehow managed to get a completely useless bachelors degree at age 30, and am still paying for it. I had a child at age 26, with someone I can’t stand. I wouldn’t trade him for the world, but I certainly would trade his father. I bought an old fixer house that hasn’t been fixed because I can’t afford to do it, and am stuck in it. I don’t take risks, because I fear things would be worse, because for the moment, I at least have security living with someone who I don’t even get along with. My job is not great, I am “middle class”, working a middle class job. Can’t afford to fix my house. I am taking care of my 93 year old great aunt, she lives with me, and I can’t get away at all, although, I am very happy that I can do that for her. I don’t want her in some horrible nursing home. My passport expired 2 years ago, but I couldn’t go on any trips right now, anyway. I have a bit of money saved, but it’s not growing. I’m not quite “miserable”, but every single day I think how this is not what I would have chosen for my life if I had it to do over. I didn’t make choices, I took what came to me. I had two job offers, and I always wonder what would have happened had I taken the job I really wanted, with growth opportunity, rather than the one I did, that paid better at the time, and was at a fancier place. I am 100% certain my life would be completely different today, because I met someone at the job I did take that totally altered the course my life, and helped lead me to where I am today. My health is also not optimal, as I eat ice cream every single day, and turned into a very plus sized person, and I have a bad knee now, too. So people/kids- LISTEN TO THE Alux LADY! She’s 100% accurate!

Thank you for sharing your story, im extremely lucky and grateful i have come across this kind of information at 19 when, since I live in basically the ghetto, I could have easily been just another statistic. Im now working towards living a fulfilling life, one day at a time. And even despite your current circumstances, I genuinely think you can still find a way to also live a fulfilling one, too! Jim Rohn (a famous entrepreneur and one of the people who inspired me to live a better life) had a friend who for most of his life lived "in the cloudy mist of alcohol" to paraphrase. He did this until he was around his 60s or 70s and finally stopped to ask himself "What if I stop living a terrible life?" Jim Rohn goes to say that his friend finally quit alcohol and for the remaining 6 years of his life, lived better than he ever did before.

I get what you're saying about taking care of your parents and sacrificing your life to take care of them. I took care of my dad for ten years and inherited the house that I live in now. If I had gone to school part-time and paid someone to stay with him while I was in school I would be further in life than I am now and would be able to take care of this house so much better. I know my dad meant well and in hindsight it is an absolute blessing these days when so many people are struggling to keep a roof over their head. But houses are both a blessing and a curse and take lots of money to maintain. Good luck with everybody watching this video.🙏 I hope your dreams come true. 🙋

I don't care for "stuff" and only buy practical things, 70 plus % of my money is invested or goes to paying off my second house early. Yeah, the money problem is solved but I want to get married and have kids and a social life. There are dead people who are more alive than myself, this is one thing I need to work on as I am at risk of never living at all.

Funny way if putting it but I totally agree with you James "there are dead people who are more alive" than some us who are still breathing. I have decided to be happily alone so that my future partner only comes to compliment to that happiness.life Is too short to waste. I wish you well in your life endeavors.

Overcoming C-Ptsd by moving away from a toxic family and getting a top job in a foreign country during the pandemic. Overcame debilitating depression and anxiety. Strengthening personal boundaries. Earning well and saving and investing 60% of my income. Forgiving but not necessarily reconciling with people whom I had a bitter history with. Seeking wisdom. Finding a spiritually fulfilling philosophy and being consistent with it. A few good quality friendships. Dropping a bunch of toxic relationships/ friendships. However, no travel. Not much social life. No partner. Chronic procrastinator.

I'd like to add besides from being successful in it business and finances, you have to take chances and other aspects of your life to not feel regret this is much harder but you'll be infinitely more successful and happiness this means surrounding yourself with people that complete and compliment personality and for that you have to understand what that means and who you are infinitely more harder than being wealthy because in the future wealth will be determined by factors we cannot comprehend

1.. I'm still balling the last one hit home hard. My father died when i was 15. My mom's covert narcissist and control issues kicked in. She won't let me leave and family won't help me get away from her. I've lost decades I'm her slave, she doesn't care about me she cares what I do for her. Cooking her food, getting her groceries, driving her to the Dr appointments, picking up her RX's, waking me up at all hours of the night so i can't get a good night's sleep because she doesn't halfto go anywhere or do anything so she keeps these odd hours and keeps me awake so im always exhausted. Decades of my life are gone because she won't let me leave and live and have a family of my own or even a normal life. I've grown to hate and i don't like it but so much I could have done is gone and I'm only filled with regret that I've never been allowed to leave.

To someone like me reading this! If you love life, don't waste time, for time is what life is made up of. ... Lost time is like a run in a stocking. ... A man who dares to waste one hour of time has not discovered the value of life. Pick something you wanna do today and work hard to achieve it, start now don’t procrastinate it to tomorrow because that tomorrow might be too long so start now because one day you will share your success story, it hard but push hard. It really hard i know because i am also in that position currently 😭 so do not give up, i pray to anyone reading this that might be in any kind hardship, receive peace and success, go and prosper. For your information am not giving up till i share my success story so i need you to also have that in mind. Thanks for reading and supporting my channel 🙏🏻

This is why I gave up impressing my friends and family by abandoning the rat race of becoming the greatest financial advisor to travelling all North America in my own semi truck. For ten years now I enjoy what I've never seen before outside four walls and get paid for it. It's been a tough run but when I look back at it, I wouldn't have it any other way. Meanwhile all my old friends are either still living in their hometowns complaining about their spouses, children, or their parents. I'm like "sucks for you. I'm all alone, but I get to sleep every night without your life stress..." Trucking has saved my life, even though it's something that didn't require a Bachelor's, Master's Degree, or even a High School Education. It's a job about courage and street smarts. Side note, the most beautiful thing about my career is that I can drive from L.A. to Chicago using two or three different routes without Google Maps or any GPS whatsoever.

Im a 7 out of 10. Because (1)I used to travel near and far, but now I stay home (quietly depressed, lazy, apathetic, or just tired---i dont know why) , even though I have the time and money to see beyond my four walls. (2)alone but not lonely. I used to have many quality people and quality intimate relationships in my life. But since starting my own business, I make less time for less ambitious friends and havent found a quality woman since i got out less. Also, I have trust issues regarding a future divorce...i'm late middle aged, in shape, financially comfortable but divorce would ruin me. Overall, the travel and socializing are fixable. Especially with time and money. In the last 7 years, I've devoted myself to financially turning my life around and up. And my workaholic efforts have paid off.

BOth my sister and I were disowned by our (Indian) parents when we decided to drop out of medical school. I guess it's a cultural thing. Cant say that I miss them: life was a constant barrage of sacrifice everything to be a doctor....it would be 100x worse now that we're NOT doctors. I graduated 3rd in my class in high school and only missed 2 questions on the SAT....to some parents, that's simply not worthy of respect. This video made me see what i've long suspected: my parents have LOST AT LIFE. I have my own business, comfy living, lots of time off, I go to Dublin for Xmas every year (just to have fun...no other reason), Japan to learn jujitsu, I was a forest firefighter for a brief time, repelling from a helicopter to go to work, and I work with kids for a living who routinely invite me to their weddings, housewarmings, and graduations when they get older. It's a shame the family has been shattered, but if we got back together, I suffered their criticism and unsolicitied advice for 30 years...i'm late 40s now and would simply much rather spend time tinkering with my 1960s vintage car than be berated about the life choices and struggle I've made to rebuild my life from scratch after leaving medical school. I'm positive they'd say my house, car, and rest of my life would be much better if i'd only been a doctor like they told me to. yes...some people lose at life. My parents lost me, too, and their legacy will be that i myself will not make THEIR mistakes.

great content! I was just wondering why it would be a loser if you live everyday the same routine? I think it is pretty common and effective for people to live each day with repeated schedule right? Since we all need to work, take care of ourselves, and enjoy life with specific sets of interests. In fact, I believe having a routine would be beneficial for each stage of self-development in order to master any skillset or even good habits.
