Someone can demonstrate any or all of these characteristics. Without being a a stubborn, manipulative or any other person. Nobody is perfect, we all do things we don't like in others. Is the difference between someone (everyone) who has committed a crime,, and the criminal.

The hardest lesson we learn is the fact we all have faults we need to fix and we recognize our faults in the words that we speak, for that I am grateful and putting Stoic concepts to the test, so it has been a breath of fresh air and a focus of mime. The wisest people are those who share their wisdom with the masses. Secret societies are like the darkness that fears the brightness of light.

i cannot agree in principle with that as some secrets need to be kept. i'm not a member of any secret society but i'm interested in the mystery schools where personal spiritual development etc is concerned . secret societies covers a multitude of differing societies with opposing ideologies etc, satanic cults and christian cults etc etc etc. i do know a number of freemasons and although they may keep secret gestures which identify to themselves for historical importance/tradition for the most part the majority i know still express/exude what they are learning , by example in their discourse and right actions etc walking the walk . we are all on different paths and no individual can take responsibility for anothers blindness. casting pearls before the swine can be futile/destructive. its for those who have eyes to see and ears to hear. we are all born in ignorance but i say ignorance is the necessary manure in which our spiritual seed grows and every authentic rose is rooted/seeded in manure yet their true beauty shines through through growth and pursuit of the light . ignorance brings forth wisdom fro those who are ready to learn/grow. we are all on different paths and on differing levels of spiritual growth. i know i still have a long way to go and the journey is long, it was never meant to be easy as we need a dynamic and extremely diverse environment in order to learn vital lessons and indeed we may take 2 steps forward and 3 steps back at times but as long as that flicker of a flame still burns inside of you it will lead you forth like a lamp in the dark.

Avoid these people: 1. The flatterer. They are very dramatic; 2. The greedy. They are never satisfied; 3. The envious even in small matters of others success; 4. The chronically angry. Any one who angers you conquers you; 5. The complainer. Negative mindset in almost everything. Whines and play as victims. Take constructive actions; 6. The self-pitying individuals. They evade responsibilities, always blame others and the world; 7. The arrogant. Excessive pride blind their flaws believing they are always right. Intolerant and disrespect those.lower them. Cultivate humility and your fallibility; 8. The selfish individuals. Always thinking their own benefits without weighing collateral effect on others. No social obligations. No mutual care and support; 9. The stubborn persons who wants his way only even with clear.and convincing evidence; 10. The insensitive, callous, shallow. Develop empathy, considerate and thoughtful; 11. The cynical people. Assumes the worst of people.derision and distrust to protect their ego. Retain faith and goodness to work together; 12. The manipulative, deceitful. Treat others deserving of respect; 13. The reckless, careless and court dangers without precautions. Rationalizes mistakes avoiding culpability. True bravery or courage balanced virtue with reason and learn from mistakes. 14. The unprincipled. Lack moral integrity. Their ends justifies their means. People are seen as instrument and tools.; 15. The vicious individuals. They love violence and pain as signs of their strength being aggressive. Cruel and exploiting the weak. You do? How did you learn that? Not from this video. It only identified the personality traits. It didn't actually teach how to avoid or deal with those people. Hell it didn't even really provide information on identifying those people and that alone can prove quite difficult. Most people won't knowingly allow themselves to be manipulated.

I recently underwent a challenge and trial that included almost all the personalities you mentioned. Thankfully, I have been practicing and training for this event and handled it with wisdom and courage. Your list is comprehensive and concise, and if the Stoical person knows the type of personality challenging their virtues, he/she is better equipped to deal with them and, in all cases, realize they cannot control them or their actions. Make the best of what we can control with courage, wisdom, and justice, with temperance as a guide to frustrations, anger, and disappointments.

Forget which Greek philosopher said “anger when coupled with reason” is useful or important emotion. “The complainer”..some do chronically complain, vent about petty or selfish things, or “complain about the gov’t”..if it’s useless complaining no one will listen but the discipline of the humanities is subversive, is meant to be subversive. Being taught HOW vs WHAT to think, So, for example in a consumer society, a self regulated corporate state, or greed driven , or cult of the self society, they do manipulate people to interpret all their problems as “personal” problems, not as institutional, which can keep people from fighting back.

Inward turning work on one's own self plus keeping tbe company of the good enhances that journey of continuous spiritual, psychological, and physical evolution. With these above 10 character tyoes around us we will add great difficulty and an uphilll climb on an already challenging path of internal joy and peace. Therefore seek the company of those who are victorious over themselves or are working hard to get there. Lose the company of the childesh.

Very interesting. I would’ve left ALONE if I avoided all these people. People are difficult….. even members of our own family. I have , indeed discarded people in my life who fit these characteristics…… others, I have learned to deal with because I love them , and can be tolerable. However, I keep my distance when I have to and let them know my boundaries. Life is hard . No is is by perfect.

Life is a learning experience. We learn to deal with….. tolerate….. or avoid all these difficult people. Wow! I’m 81, and I have had to deal with ALL of them throughout my loooooong life. Now? I am smiling and being proud of myself…… and yes, THEY are still in my life. 😂

I have to deal with this sort of person in my office. She's a piece of work. I've never known anyone with the level of greed that this one has. It's truly sickening.

I feel as if stoicly you should remain indifferent to this person rather than feel sickened if you want inner peace because it seems like you're judging an imperfect being for being imperfect and it only brings both of you down to see it that way. Maybe trust the process of their growth and yours ? See them as your brethren cause that's what we all are. Children going through this world together by whatever way we know how

Stoicism is a greater virtue to practice. Stoic mind never yields to persecution, torture and adversity. When all these 15 undesirable vices are resisted with unyielding and fortified mind, then, one becomes a stoic naturally.

This is a very self reflecting type of video, when a grievance comes from the coverup of corruption should we just let it go? ... or without amplifying those flaws that make the world worse and letting those that have them we can improve the system around us by demonstrating the opposite of the characteristics highlighted in this video. The balance of light and dark needs work to be achieved. Perhaps if everyone can demonstrate contrition a new peace can emerge and the settling of historic grievances...i think they call that justice? Injustice breeds all of these things mentioned.

American culture and school particularly MBA taught students to have these kind of stoicism ..example the sport coach tells the players to do whatever it take to win the championship there is no second place…in corporate world they would lie and step over others to move up …
