I will continue to practice kindness, care, empathy and compassion to others, i will maintain strong boundaries along the way and honestly communicate any issues , if someone repeatedly oversteps my boundaries i will go no contact. My kindness cannot be weaponised against me as i seek no validation outside of myself

We just handle every situation with a calm mind . people sometimes become violent and make their work flop. A calm mind is the only hallmark to handle in a better way. And "be a good person and don't waste your time to prove it ". What is true or false ,your inner heart ❤️ can judge better. In every society ,culture or religion there is a history of their heroes and villains. We have to learn our culture very well and get results from their work.

I lost my mom on July 2 my dad on July 12 and my husband on July 25, 2021. All in the same month. I’m only strong because what other choice do I have. The sun will come up tomorrow and I am gonna be here. So when “He” just cut me off recently it makes me smile and carry on because I have been through far worse….

I am so sorry for that. In no way do I wish to compare scars, but in perhaps the spirit of shared pain: As someone who has been fighting brain cancer for a decade now, I'm exhausted with hearing about being strong or brave or whatever labels people throw out. Life threw me in a cage with a grizzly bear and gave me a spatula to defend myself with. You said it perfectly: What other choice does one have? Any man or woman would press on if forced into that corner. I do hope that July is as positive and worry free as it could be, all things considered. Peace, love and strength to you my friend.

The ancient Stoic philosophy, exemplified by figures like Marcus Aurelius, Seneca, and Epictetus, teaches us how to face life with calm and determination. By learning from the past, we can better prepare for the challenges of the future. Stoicism emphasizes that our reactions to events are within our control, and we should focus on what we can control rather than what we cannot. This philosophy helps us face modern crises more effectively, turning them into opportunities for growth and self-improvement.
