I’m sorry you miss your hair! I recently cut mine short- undercut/ stacked in the back, with long pieces in front. It is SO EASY to style- I just roll the back under and finger coil the front bits. ☺️

I was told those pains are round ligament pain as well. I have had two miscarriages and it also scared the hell out of me. I couldn't help but thinking something was wrong. But rest assured, it was just that ligament pain. I'm so glad you're feeling better. ♥

Hey Susie! So glad your pregnancy is going well! I had the exact round ligament pain you talked about with 2 out of my 3 kids. It started at around 7 weeks I think. It used to scare me really bad too, because my first pregnancy was a physically painful miscarriage. But my kiddos were just fine. I’d get it so bad, that by the end of pregnancy, I’d have to wear my brace even to sleep with because it was such terrible pain. I’m sorry you’re having it, but just wanted you to know that my healthcare provider even confirmed it being round ligament pain and everything was just fine. Hopefully this helps set your mind at ease.

The quickening, that is what that used to be called. :) Back in the medieval times, it was when a woman would know for sure she was pregnant. She could feel the babe fluttering around. I think it's a really cute way to explain it. You are so cute to watch! I am praying for you and the baby!

You look amazing. You can buy maternity support belts that help with that stretching ligament feeling you talked about. My hair and nails were always super healthy when I was pregnant and grew quickly. But I wasn't sick so I ate well. I hope you keep feeling well.

When you were talking about your round ligament pain, it brought me back to my pregnancy. I'm currently 4 months postpartum but right around the 15-week mark into my pregnancy, I started having pain when I stood up or rolled over. I ultimately came to the conclusion I had pelvic girdle pain. I found that it would help to put pillows between my legs while I slept. I also kept my legs together when I was getting out of the bed or if I rolled over. During the day I had to wear a support belt to lift my belly up. Anyways, I hope your pain gets better and it doesn't end up being pelvic girdle pain because it really wasn't pleasant.

You are definitely feeling round ligament pain. I’m pregnant with my 9th and it’s the worst it’s ever been for me. Magnesium and chiropractic are the 2 things that have helped me immensely!!

Have you heard of belly breathing? Bodyfit by Amy here on KZbin has a great video and it has helped me tremendously with round ligament pain. I'm pregnant with my third and had it early and I agree, it's alarming! I don't know if it was just timing or the belly breathing but mine went away pretty much completely by 20 weeks (about a week after I really focused on doing the belly breathing). Glad you're feeling good otherwise!

Yes I had that pain too, not so much the tearing sensation. My midwife told me to keep my feet together when getting out of the car and my bed, and that really helped. Also I used a Smileybelt.

Round ligament pains stink! They came and went for me all during both my pregnancies. I ended up needing to use those belly support bands after 20 weeks to just help counter my belly weight and not put so much strain on those ligaments. Keep on! It’ll be over before you know it and it’ll be like a dream.

Sometimes I get up more than 4 times a night, but only because of severe pAiNs all through my body & restless legs etc.!
