I can't thank you enough for being my savior. During the start of the exam, all I could remember was David's strategy to eliminate options, break down the question into parts, use keywords for identification, and strategically align it with the concepts. Gradually, as the exam progressed, my brain cleared up and the concepts started kicking in, but the strategy remained the same. I talked to myself occasionally throughout the exam, exactly in David's words and tone, I believe in you, you can do it, and I did it! I passed the PMP with T/T/AT. You are a rare gem, David. I hope more people benefit from your lessons and motivation.

i wrote mine in June and i failed it because the way the questions were set was different from David's scenario based questions . i hope that the next time i attempt it would be more like his scenario based ones it was most drag and drop and several lines long questions and several lines option which made it difficult . i wonder if they were trying outa different type of questions ? i do hope i dont encounter them on my next attempt it made me feel unprepared or unserious like i never prepared for the exam.

But I listened to the way Mr David analysed each question, his elimination method on the options, and why I would have failed if I had chosen my wrong options or passed if I choose the right option. Mr David's method on each question was the same for me. Wishing you success.

David, I spent $2500 on a boot camp to prepare me for the PMP exam. Upon finishing it I was more confused than when I had initially started. After reviewing your 150 Q&A, 50 video series and 1 hour complete PMP body of knowledge video (7th Edition). Hello everyone. I failed the PMP exam my first time taking it, but after buckling down and watching David's 200 Agile, 150 PMBOK 7, and Waterfall 100 Questions videos I was able to pass the exam the second time yesterday. I watched each video, pausing at the question to give my best guess, and then resuming to let him explain not just the right answers but also the wrong answers too. After watching all 3 videos I took a break and took practice exams elsewhere and came back to David's videos again to refresh and shore up knowledge. I passed with AT, AT, and T. Thank you so much David, not just for the videos, but for the encouragement too!

@ I assume you’ve already started studying. I studied seriously for about two months, though some people say they needed less time. It’s recommended to study at least 200 hours-I did about 230. Make sure to get enough sleep the night before the exam. Avoid eating a heavy meal or drinking too much water (or coffee if that’s what you drink in the morning) beforehand. You’ll have two breaks after every 60 questions-take them, you’ll need the rest. Keep an eye on your time because it goes by quickly. Stay as calm as possible. I was nervous and couldn’t focus as well as I’d hoped. It’s normal to feel that way, but if you’ve prepared enough and breathe through it, you’ll do great. Good luck-you’ve got this!

I would recommend David to anyone who is taking the PMP test. I took my test last week and passed above target in Business and People and at target in Process on my first try! After months of stressing the test and not really studying consistently, I finally booked it and gave myself 2 weeks to buckle down. All I did was listen to David (PMBOK 150, Agile 200, PMBOK 6th Edition 100 - used to be called Waterfall Questions, PMBOK in One Hour and The Only Thing You Need to Pass the PMP). The way he breaks down the questions and answers is how you need to work through each question on the actual test. Thank you, David for all of your wisdom and encouragement.

@@Shakti326 Yes, I would still try to go through the PMBOK 6! I know it’s a very big book to digest but it has the baselines you need for project management. The 7th edition introduced new technics and approaches but the baseline is still there so you need to have the 6th edition ITTO’s in mind. There many books out there that can help you to understand the PMBOK 6th edition probably in a much simpler way. Finally, keep in mind that exam is unpredictable…you can get situational only like me or a mix of processes, evm, god knows :)

Like everyone else, I had to come back and tell you that as of yesterday, I am now PMP certified! I passed the exam with AT/AT/T on my first try. I owe much of that to David's videos. @@Luva1734 my routine was - this one video by David. I split this video in 2 days session. An important thing that got me the most out of this video was the mindset. The mindset of a project management practicioner. I'd say build a mindset on top of PMI guidelines, NOT the work culture in our offices because that might not be the true form of project management. Mindset and this video got me through, to sum it up.

I made the mistake of scheduling my exam too far out - causing me to procrastinate (actually) studying until about 3 weeks before. I was overwhelmed by all the content and realized I didn't have a great understanding. I started watching David's videos (this one & 200 Agile Questions) and by the end everything made sense. I passed my PMP over the weekend having aggressively studied for 3 weeks using only David's videos! David, thank you so much!!!!!! I had done all the studying I intended to do, however, when I started watching your videos, I realized how woefully unprepared I was despite having prep'd for over a year. As I navigated my way thru the PMP exam this morning, I realized that you taught me the agile mindset. You don't just offer the right answer to a question, but explain every choice "ooohh, this looks promising"... It was because of your teachings that I didn't get mired in that quick sand of "man... 2 of those look really good". Yes, I did it! I just received an email from PMI with a certificate. I scored AT, AT, and T in my first go. Thank you so much for your three videos. They helped me a lot in understanding the topics. For those attempting to pass their PMP exam, this guy is a gem. Watch all three of his long videos and understand the topics, don't just cram them. His videos cover each topic from the books. In my exam, all the questions had a similar layout but were asked in different ways. So Best of luck, you all can do it.

I'm taking my test on Tuesday. I have 3 days left. David has three videos (100,150, 200). 100- waterfall q's. 150 scenario q's. 200- agile q's. Does the 150 have a mix of both waterfall and agile? I don't think I can get through 14 hours of video in 3 days. Should i focus on the 150? Or should I do half of the 200 and half of the 100?

I just wanted to come back and say thank you Mr. McLachlan. I took my PMP test on 08/02/2024 and passed only because of you. I took an expensive bootcamp 3 months ago and for me it was a waste of money. I did not retain any of the information from the bootcamp after 4 days of them just spewing as much information as they could at me. 3 weeks ago I found this video and saw comments from others about your videos. I watch your 150 PMBOK 7, 200 agile questions, and 100 waterfall questions videos. These three videos and the 1 PMP mindset video from Eduhubspot were my only study resources for 3 weeks and I passed the exam. Thank you so much for these resources.

​@davidcastanon1621 no. The questions on the exam are tougher. But these videos definitely helped me better understand the questions I was reading. I recommend you pay the $50 on PMI for their study hall. Those questions were harder than the ones on the exam. Between those and these you will be well prepared.

I also watched David's process videos in sequence according to the groups. Most of the questions are scenario based. Also, focus on agile.

This video was fantastic. To test my knowledge, I paused before each question, read and answered it, then unpaused to hear David's thought process. I feel incredibly confident about taking the PMP exam now. As additional context, I originally started studying with PMI's Study Hall and was consistently scoring around 70%, which was concerning and frankly a bit stressful. Hi David, I just got my preliminary PMP exam results, and I have passed it. For my preparation I started off with your 1 hour video on 7th edition of PMBOK and then have watched all of your videos on scenario based questions 2 times and made notes to develop the mindset.
