1500m Norwegian FINAL Jakob Ingebrigtsen Crazy Run

As a Norwegian, I can inform you that Jakob always competes in the national championships. He loves to race here, and especially this year, as it was held in this home town. Besides, the race was before the olympics (June), so it made perfectly sense to test his fitness at this point. As for Filip, he hasn't really shown any elite form since 2018

Why would you question Jakob ingebrigtsen?? I think he knows what he is doing..if you watch the show he wanted to meet the olympic standard in his hometown meet. He has said over and over that he loves to compete, and his baby was just born around that time, so he can compete without traveling far as he usually has to

His 400 split was around 55 flat (not 56 - 57 as said in the video), pretty crazy in this kind of weather. And that's why he couldn't keep up the pace towards the end. A foreboding of what was to come in Paris.

Man, I really like your videos -they are hilarious (but not always intentionally I believe): 1. You know Jakob is from Sandnes -and when the stadium has a huge sign that says “Velkommen til Sandnes”; do you think that could have influenced why Jakob chose to participate? 2.Preparation before the xc season? Man, do you know when this race is -it’s pre Olympics! 3. First lap 56/57? -The commentators said a sensational 54! 4. Increasing his pace in the last lap -Jakob said in the post race interviews that he had to do the opposite because of the fast opening in the wind and the rain. 4. He raced against 4 min 1500m runners? Well, aside of Filip (pb 3.30.01there was a 17 years old guy who just had run 3.37.26…

Each year the best male/female athlete in the national championship gets The King's Cup, this is judged mostly on the IAAF points table, both Jakob and Kasten W have won it previously. Trying to run flat out was both a test before the Olympics and an attempt to score another "best male athlete" silver cup.

Well. Its an old race. And of course he participate. Its all about showing his face, to young runders. pleasing sponsors etc. But of course your confused making content that become realtively irrelevant and your options the same. If your startet by googling when the race took place. You probably found another to waste time on
