well i practice a lot lol (got out of practice recently due to exams tho) and i would keep switching sites a lot. like i was doing on typingtest.com initially, then i started with keybr.com(which i left pretty quick) then i found 10fastfingers.com then monkeytype.com then later i also started doing quotes on typeracer.com and typination.com , currently i use monkeytype for the random words test, i sometimes go to 10fastfingers just for light practice. i also had gotten into trying bursting which i do on monkeytype and typings.gg , so i guess a lot of practice like 30min-2hours daily. i would do it a lot during my online classes too so although not in one sitting, the typing practice would get spread out. plus i realised at 120wpm that the traditional typing style(aka homerow) is extremely inefficient so i had to modify the style and start over from an extremely slow speed(15/20wpm) so that i get in habit of the new style and forget the old inefficient keystrokes. so yeah after that it took a month to go from 20wpm to faster speeds than before. the only issue was that i make many typos now and my keyboard is terrible lol (btw if you have anything else to ask do so on discord since it's easier to keep track of the messages, for which i just gave my tag to your other comment)
