152 Deburring / Finishing Aluminum Aerospace Parts

In this episode we demonstrate how we process aluminum Aerospace parts with our W5 tumbler, deburring and making the parts smooth to the touch!

Great video. Our W5 has been working great and we enjoy it thoroughly. One issue we have is that some of the holes in the silicone get clogged up so compound doesn't flow through. I see in the video above that the compound is now coming out of a bar that's above the silicone tub. Is this a new change for the 2021 models?

Is there ever a reason you wouldn't want to do this process on an Aerospace part? I feel like I see a lot of raw machined parts out there.

Depending on your customers' requirements, when using Vibratory finishing you are removing edges and smoothing out the parts. Most all parts require some finishing. Think more of it that it's cleaning up the surface and edges. Prep work for the next operation. Check with your clients' requirements for finishing.
