Great work! Nice tip on the tamiya thinner, I'll watch out for that! Keep it up!

Good job mate, Well done. I am looking forward to seeing the next video. Is there any chance of talking through how you thin down the oils for weathering and what you use to thin them down????

+jjab99 Of course, no problem. Will add that in to the next vid - thanks for the feedback.

I have to say that when I was in the royal tank regiment not one tank had the same cam job even the paint colour could be varied no 2 batches are ever the same and this was defo the case in ww2 even more so.

+Phil Barber Well, that's reassuring and understandable, thanks for taking the time to feedback Phil.

I just went through the same madness with my airbrush but I'm not sure there is any other way to learn.

Excellent video. By the way, did I hear the intro for BBC's Listen To Music While You Work?

Looks good to me-thanks for the informative video :) You mentioned a thinner? Could you not just use water? Is the thinner a lot better for this?
@modeldads
@modeldads 9 жыл бұрын
+Peter Anckorn Yes, absolutely. Water isn't going to help you. Use your branded paints thinner and you'll get better results. At least 50:50. But you're best off with Tamiya.

very nice indeed, but I'll never be convinced that than airbrush is an essential for most people.

+David Martin Well, it's certainly an acquired taste but once you get it it's hard to do without :)

very nice, how long did the spray painting take you on these panzers?
@modeldads

+covearty God question. I would say about 6 hours or so, about 30 minutes per tank. Faster as I got more confident :)
