Hello, excellent, right place & right time, to just capture LOCOMOTIVES, I saw 1 I don’t recall before #3 heard of our latest delemma Meat shortage , WENDEYS, ran out of beef , in stores 2 each beef, pork, chickens at one visit , just towed my car to dealer today Cheers From NJ USA🇦🇺🇺🇸

Thanks Schony .. at least yer not locked down totally. I still have a momento fom 1959, a brass enclosed railway yearly ticket that my father used from Melb. to Footscray where he worked , I still have it on my key chain. He was a process operator at Monsanto making asprin , but died before he was 50 . I was on an overseas trip at the time so could not be at his bed side to say goodbye . Got informed a month later as I was traveling and got on the first flight I could back to melb from Amsterdam. Another long story in ones life.

noting the clip starting at 3:44, i just happened to be reading the wikipedia entry about cl class locos yesterday and it says that ssr bought clf 1 and 3, clp 9 and 12 and a 42 thrown in as well in 2019. this may explain this heavy light movement. and clp 12 is to be trialled in april 2020. i thought someone might be interested in that.

This movement was to store the locos at Goulburn. This was 2013 and the locos were still owned by Aurizon / QR National.

front is a DL class while the middle is a suprisingly a rare booster unit or better known as the B unit in the US

There are a number of tracking groups on Facebook. Between the lot of us we sort out the numbers and loco order

Eventually to Ettamogah rail hub which is near Albury ( I think!) Where H3, H5 and P22 have since been reactivated

A,very long and very heavy light engine movement I suppose. It was pretty surreal to watch st the time.

@@jashugg He's still wrong in that sense. I ran the numbers - not including the locomotives that were actually running (B75, T385, T386) there were 3 x T class at 70t each. 3 x H class at 82t each. 4 x P class at 76t each and 3 x Y class at 65t each. Total 955t. It's probably a bit less as they were all probably missing some parts. So the maximum haul is 955 tonnes... the locos pulling the load probably added weight too but that doesnt really matter.

In fact I don’t like it when any loco has graffiti on it and I also noticed one freight Australia had a broken window 😢

Most locos had been in storage for a long time so some graffiti and damage was not surprising
