16 New Villagers PERSONALITIES REVEALED

You may have heard that there are 16 brand new villagers coming to Animal Crossing New Horizons, but you may not know their personalities yet. Well, thanks to my friend ‪@mehdigeek‬, it has come to my attention that there is a very clear pattern we can see through the amiibo cards. When you organize them in order, you can actually see what personalities the new villagers will have. This video goes through and reveals that pattern to show the personalities of all the villagers being added in the New Horizons 2.0 Update!

Are you sure? Just because there is a pattern doesnt mean there will be one. They might make all the old villagers sisterly and smug. And isnt there that whole rule with the npc villagers that the girls have eyelashes while the guys dont? I dont see any logic behind sasha being a boy other than the pattern you found, even if sasha was a male villager, wouldnt they be a jock? And why would shino be a peppy? None of this makes any sense, but we will have to see once 2.0 comes out

These theorys are ALL correct, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp (ACPC) just got the 8 new villagers today (October 28), and their personalities were all revealed. (Not the 8 old villagers from past games)

@big chomp Not necessarily. Bishounen is more for clearly male pretty boys whereas otokonoko is for men who could easily be mistaken for women. Just because it's used a lot in hentai doesn't mean it's exclusive to it, nor does it mean anyone's brains are rotting.

Considering everyone's names in different languages, the personalities and therefor gender implied by the series 5 card-pattern is what would make the most sense. If Sasha is indeed a lazy villager I think that it would add to his charm. As for the amiibos, I think that they revealed all 48, actually. I saw a complete list somewhere, the staunch majority of them are NPCs. I don't think there are any more that we have not seen.

I have a couple alternate explanations that seem super interesting to me: 1. The introduction of brand new personalities that throws off the pattern 2. Crossing personalities and genders for the first time (female Jock, male Peppy, etc.)

I really want Ione on my island, but I already have two normal villagers (Merengue and Daisy). But no matter what personality she has, she’s probably going to replace Vivian on my island. To be honest, I used to think Petri was male and could be Cranky or Smug. I also wasn’t expecting Sasha to be male, but there are lots of male characters in Japanese anime or video games present themselves in a androgynous or feminine way, so I’m used to used to it and Sasha seems pretty cool.

One of my in-laws is from Russia & he named all of his children classic names from his home country including a son named Sascha (there are variations of spelling) which is supposed to be short for Alexandria but he said it's a unisex name but most commonly used as a boy's name so I'm not so surprised that Sasha is a boy since there aren't any girl characters that wear the lettermen's jacket as their default, but what I didn't expect was the lazy personality, I thought he was going to be a jock because the jacket.

That pattern also occurs in the series 3 and 4, but they also change that pattern whenever its convenient even on those sets, I personally believe they will keep Roswell and Faith with their old personalities to have two sisterly and smug on the new ones, being designed as such instead of switched for gameplay, since the amount of villagers that did switch were very few compared to new ones added on those personalities, that one male and one female villager has been a staple since series 1, so I do believe at very least you got the genders right, but I would say there is a 50% chance you got the personalities wrong

My personal opinion is that Sasha will be smug, Ione sisterly, Tiansheng smug, Shino snooty, Marlo cranky, Petri peppy, Cephalobot jock(as all other robot villagers are) and Quinn sisterly

Mitchel/Mitchell is also a girl's name. Pretty unisex. Unlike Petri who's Japanese name "Rika" is unapologetically a girl name.

This theory does make sense, however I'm not so sure that it's what's going to happen. Unless Nintendo gives us their personalities or they come into the game we can't know for certain what they are by inference. Plus I don't think that they would give Sasha a sporty outfit and make them uninteresting in being active... then again, I can't imagine Tiansheng as anything but a jock.

I'm surrpised Reneigh is labled as "sisterly". She came in and took a plot on my island and in our first conversation she yelled at me in all caps. After that getting KK to come to my island took a back seat to getting her off my island which I was able to do thankfully.
