16 NEW VILLAGERS You Can Get in Animal Crossing New Horizons

16 Brand New Villagers have been revealed for Animal Crossing: New Horizons, all of which will be arriving in the New 2.0 Update.
Some characters will be returning from the original games and others have never been seen before, including Ione, Sasha and Shino! All of these characters will be available via the Series 5 Amiibo Cards which are due to launch soon. Let's take a look at all of the new villagers which you'll be able to invite to your island when the update drops!

Shino has to be my favourite design, her design is so mysterious and fitting for my traditional Japanese style island. Also she fits perfectly with Halloween! Love the horns and the unique colour scheme. I also love the little monkey in the expansion pass his design is super cute maybe he will be able to visit our island sometime?

Sadly I don't think this will happen since there are always a male and a female personality that fit together but there's a possibility since nh is way less gendered than nl (clothes, speech bubbles, ...) Maybe the next game will introduce a non-gendered personality type

if i'm not mistaken, with the DLC you'll be able to make vacation homes for other villagers with their amiibos, so while you may not be able to have more on your home island, you could still make vacation homes for whomever you want (this is just my understanding based on the nintendo direct videos so please feel free to correct me if i'm wrong)

I think Sasha is actually male! There is quite a bit of evidence for it: - Their Japanese name is Mitchell, a very obvious male name. Their German name is also a male name, and the English, Spanish and French names (Sasha, Ariel, and Alix) are gender-neutral, meaning it could go both ways. These names were picked on purpose like every other name, probably to play into Sasha's androgyny. - If you look at how the amiibo cards are presented, starting from Sherb it goes male-female-male-female and so on. Sasha is after Reneigh and before Ione, which would make them male. - Additionally, the amiibo cards are in the following order: Lazy (Sherb) - Normal (Megan) - Jock (Dom) - Peppy (Audie) - Cranky (Cyd) - Snooty (Judy) - Smug (Raymond) - Sisterly (Reneigh). This order is continued throughout the 8 returning villagers (Chadwick is Lazy, Zoe is normal, and so on). Sasha is at the "lazy" spot.

For everyone guessing personalities, the cards for existing NH and returning GC characters are in the same order of personalities. Which means the following: UPDATE: Pocket Camp has confirmed this as correct! Quinn is without a doubt my fave brand new villager, I love the colour scheme! Ione (whose name is I think pronounced either like Iona or I-oh-nee) is absolutely gorgeous too, with their galactic tail. Although you suggested peppy as their personality, I think snooty is another personality contender, because of their smirky eyes. Since there are 8 personalities, I'm guessing the villagers are one of each. My guesses are: Sasha: Uchi- most Uchi villagers have those severe bangs, and she has a letterman jacket. Ione: Snooty- just LOOK at her, she's a total Ice Queen. Tiange: Peppy- this is an energetic monkey, and I don't know if we have that combo yet. Shino: Normal- well, normal is the most popular personality type, and she gonna be popular no matter what. Celaphane-opus: Lazy- they always give lazies those sweaters Mobster Hamster: Cranky- he's got the look for that deep voice . Quinn: Smug- He seems like he'd match the muted colors many smug villagers have (Ken, Kyle, Eugene, Raymond, etc ...) Petri: Jock- cause there's nothing left lol. A jock nerd would be funny.

I’m pretty sure Shino is based of a mix of an Oni (Japanese demon in folklore) and a regular cute deer. So I think those are supposed to be demon horns and not antlers. But that’s pretty cool if Shino is a normal!

If you look that the amiibo card a bit more it actually indicates the personality as there a pattern for the villagers if you look that order of the villagers in each of group numbers card the 1.0 and the retuning villagers personality first is lazy,secord is normal third is Jock,fouth is Peppy,fifth is Cracky, Sixth is snooty,seventh is Smug and eight and last is Sisterly

@@joshhallam6342 there was also a previous pattern in the older amiibo series where there were 100 cards a set with 17 special villagers and 83 normal villagers, but series 5 only has 48 cards with 24 special villagers and 24 normal villagers. if they didn't keep those patterns, why would they keep the personality pattern? it just doesn't make sense, so it shouldn't be treated as actual evidence of the new villagers personalities.

I love they did this and I'm happy to see Roswell who originally was Pironkon in DnMe+. I love the gators and between Liz and Roswell, I'm glad they chose Roswell as he is the more unique design. Unsure if they'll change the past villagers types cuz Roswell be cool as a smug. We are missing smug, sisterly and peppy for alligators so Roswell being changed be cool. But it's fine if he's a 3rd lazy gator. Other two being Alfonso and Drago. Trivia for Roswell is him being based on crop circles and Roswell Incident so he's got a Alien them going on, plus what seems another cyborg/robot villager and would fit next to Del.

I don’t want to make any quick assumptions so here are my predictions on the new villagers: Sasha - could be male or female actually. If they’re a male, probably jock. If female, peppy personality would be nice Ione - Most likely Snooty. Tiansheng - Most likely Cranky. Shino (my fav) - According to the happy home paradise trailer, her house description was “A Stage to Jam in Japan.” So I’m sure she is peppy. Marlo - seems like a smug hamster, it’s the aesthetic he gives out. My favorite hamster now lol Petri - seems like a normal villager to me. Cephalobot - gives out lazy vibes tbh. Quinn - like Sasha, could be a boy or a girl. Sisterly or jock perhaps. Really like these new villagers, I would consider inviting Shino, Sasha, or Marlo to my island!
