What a really awesome idea.. Loved them :) question: what size do you make your square cards? I never know what the right size is or even if there is a right size?? thanks so much.
@ardyth4 жыл бұрын
I make my square cards 4.25x4.25. That way they fit in an A2 size envelope (which I have on hand) and no need for extra postage. And no. There is no 'right' size - whatever works best for your design. I usually stick to a size that there is a ready-made envelope for, but you can make your own envelopes, too, so you can really make your card whatever size you want! Thanks for watching, Paula!

Hi Ardyth! Do you think this technique worked well especially using different color inks, because of the Catherine Pooler inkpads? I know that one of their properties is no cross contamination between colors, I am just wondering cuz I want a reason to get more inks 🤪
@ardyth4 жыл бұрын
I actually think that felt cubes would give you consistently nice wispy swinking because they tend not to be that juicy. As you know, CP inks are my favourites, for all their properties! I think what really worked here was the foam pad and the vibrancy of the colours. Plus you get the option of putting down a little more pressure, and getting heavier coverage, if that's what you want, because they are so juicy. The no-contamination is really more about how clean the stamp gets when you clean it before you stamp again with a different colour - ie: stamp with green, clean it and then stamp with red and get the true red colour with no green undertones (or muddy brown). But you can bet I'll be thinking about this property with respect to swinking. It didn't occur to me while I was doing it. And come on. We always need more inks! lol! I'm about to order the new set of minis. Thanks for watching!
