Be Grateful for what you have and now is the time to step up and be independent for yourself as you can learn how to take care of yourself. Myself i live in Negros oriental and was a bachelor for almost a decade and live alone, cook for myself going out 1 to 2 times a week, don't drink alcohol and don't go to bars and rarely bump into other expats here in Valencia. I have a lady i date and she is also independent. You should travel around and even visit some of us other expats like you used to when Chrissy was in school. Cheer up dude as you know The Philippines is "What you make it" and take the effort to stay in touch just like you did when in an LDR and shoe was on the other foot.
