⚡ *Beautiful review,* I suspected Orion entered the esk8 ESC market, thanks for confirmin it! ⚡ Loved the TKP truck comparison.Nice to see a Faster charger. Close-up shots of trucks when carving/turning 🤩 Classic washer flip over trick to make it a flat washer 👏🏼👏🏼 true skater style 👌🏼 With such a long wheelbase a flat washer on the front truck is nice. Surprised deck had no flex but the shape looks like it's good for carving. As always, I love the street wheels segment 🤙🏼🤙🏼 That slide out was fun to watch 😂 thanks for includin it! KAMi what are your thoughts on the use of a stiff, non flexible, enclosure on a flexible deck? I know some people have had issues on older models where over time the enclosure will dig into the deck creating a gap which, among other issues, could allow water to enter and destroy the electronics. It was the first thing I noticed when the BC3 was announced and I was kind of amazed that such an obvious issue was not addressed... That and the smaller battery size are my biggest reservations when it comes to this board. It was nice to see that you got a decent range though so that clears up some worry. I really wish Onsra and other companies like Backfire that are making these really nice remotes would make them available to the DIY community. Thanks for another great video!!
@chrixx99142 жыл бұрын
It is the same deck and enclosure setup like on the Black Carve 2. I think there are some people with over 10000 km on the board and there are no issues so far. In the end ever deck can have issues (carbon can crack over time as well)
@chrixx99142 жыл бұрын
I was actually really surprised that the BC3 got that range with the 15psi, aggressive riding and rather cold weather. It was still better than the hurricane with a bigger battery configuration and better condition which was very nice to see.

Exactly ...onsra makes 1,500-2,000$ boards and has small batteries?? I don't understand it at all...I have a black carve and ended up drilling holes into the deck and installed lock washes with bolts and nuts to make it waterproof because the bottom encloser screws were rustibg and falling out letting a gap open up...I'll never buy another onsra board that's for sure ...u can get a much better board for way less $$ ... tynee explorer, ownboard zues pro, eavon gts, b-one titan ...those all have bigger batteries, more power, bigger ah wh batteries and are less $$ then onsras best boards even on sale...I like to check in once in a while to look at onsras but their stats always disappoint ...its like they r always a year behind other esk8s

Instead of going with generic boring Hobbywing remote that we've all seen so far, Onsra went all out on designing new remote that's based on Flipsky VX2 Pro design which I do like and which I do prefer the most. Every boards should have at least 14" and up CNC precision TKP as standard, not narrow ones like on 10" one on certain boards which makes entire board look yucky with Pneumatic wheels. 12S 3P however.. I feel like battery configuration could've been better in my opinion but overall, this is a nice step up from Onsra. To those who may be disappointed in the top speed, if they have smaller pulleys with PU wheels, top speed is achievable.
@chrixx99142 жыл бұрын
I completely agree with you but it seems like even though the battery configuration is smaller than on the hurricane the BC3 still got more range which kinda surprised me
@KAMiJUINs2 жыл бұрын
In my opinion, everything from the gear ratio to motor power to tire resistance is something that can affect. Just a little more battery capacity doesn't guarantee a longer range.

@KAMiJUINs18 күн бұрын
Since the wheels are large, the ride is comfortable and since it uses tires, it is possible to ride on rougher terrain. However, compared to the street type that uses small PU wheels, the truck's response is a bit duller and slower.

Very well made review and video as always. I think this board is a bit expensive and I think a wooden deck should have flex. A stiff board should be sleek strong carbon.
@chrixx99142 жыл бұрын
I have a BC2 which uses the same deck. My personal opinion is that it’s not as stiff as a carbon board but definitely not as flexible like other wooden boards. It helps with vibrations a lot but still very stable. I like it but that is obviously always personal preference.

Well the idea with the BLACK Carve series was to have a board that's not as stiff as a full carbon deck and not as bouncy as a bouncy board. We think something in between is needed and a lot of customers appreciate the difference and some even got over 10'000km on the BC2. Apart from that you got a two year warranty here at onsra.

@esk8news3282 жыл бұрын
@@certifiedalchemist it isn't a design decision. You can do that with any cup washer since the dawn of time. We have been doing it in both skateboarding and longboarding. And designed means that they did something to make it work. No. This cup washer is OEM, not made by Onsra. It's the standard CNC cup washer you see from many brands now.
@certifiedalchemist2 жыл бұрын
This is really getting petty, but they decided to put in a cupped washer and not a flat washer. Thus designing it that way. Peace out.
