166. Wheel Throwing Porcelain - Wide Shallow Bowl - Beginners Guide (ASMR)

Wheel Throwing in porcelain is a little more difficult than stoneware or earthenware. But with a few tips and a bit of practice you can learn how to make beautiful porcelain pottery too.
In this video I will show you how I make my wide shallow bowls in porcelain.
This is a slow paced video. No fast social media editing. Just the way I do it at the correct speed.

when making plaster bats for the wheel I cast them with American football cleats as indents that match the holes in the wheel and then put them into the wheel holes when throwing.

Porcelain is definitely less forgiving than stoneware, but as you said, the results are beautiful. I had not seen the string technique until last week's video. That is very interesting. Do you do any slip trailing designs also? Thank you for another great video!!
