This was so very helpful to me.. along with your MSC Seashore review.. thank you for the information on Cruise Control Transport, that was a life-saver... I died a little on the inside when you were trying to cut that chicken leg with a knife and fork.. HAHAHAHA. I was like "if she don't pick up that darn chicken!".. it looks tempura fried, which has it's positives and negatives.. but if it's not seasoned well, then it's all bad.. We just love you guys! We love your honesty, positivity, family and your videos. Thank you so much for taking the time to bring us so much valuable information. We are considering MSC, but may bump to YC (not sure yet), but seems the little added costs outside YC can add up, i.e. $188 for wifi with stream and only 1 device that cannot be switched...Ugh. Also, we're foodies and don't want to be disappointed with the food/portion sizes. However, must weigh the cost. Thanks again to your family!

for the price you really can’t complain! you just have to make the best out of every situation. like all the other ships I could not book a solo trip without paying double, and some cruiselines wouldn’t even allow you the option to book solo, so basically I booked one solo room & one double room for 6 days and the total came out to $1,100 that’s extremely cheap so MSC deserves some credit👍🏾 the food may not be excellent but what can people expect for the cheapest cruise in the world!😊 I’m not a complainer I just have fun no matter where I go! I was on MSC before out of Florida, i didn’t like the congestion and the food in the buffet definitely needed major improvement but honestly u won’t starve and also the main purpose of cruising is to have a good time and not eat 24/7! Lol

I sailed in May out of Brooklyn which you booked me on this very ship and I really enjoyed my solo cruise. I didn’t eat at the buffet but the dining room food was pretty good. Its a beautiful ship. I would book it again.

I just sailed in the seashore in July & although it was subpar in comparison to other cruises I’ve taken, we made the best of it. My favorite bar was the horizon bar on deck 19. Amazing ! Id probably never sail msc again but glad I got to experience it.

@ just personal preference really but overall, they have more kinks to work out as far as service goes. The aesthetic of the ship was beautiful, but entertainment was lackluster, again we made the best of it. Meal times were almost as if they did a cattle call. Crowding with no direction really. The private island was beautiful as well but there could definitely be more to do.

Went on Seascape very skeptical. To us overall it's a better product than Icon from decor, to layout and not just having everything along a linear mall, to food, to vibe and execution of mass parties, to daily events which seemed nonstop, to price of specialty They have some really beautiful spaces like Caberet Rouge Service was better (except Guest Services where they like to debate stuff that's not worth debating) Shows were so so But pound per pound it was better than Royal Brunch was better than Carnival. Overall food not as good as Carnival but certainly better than Royal which doesn't even try Also we called Cruise Control for Utopia. But noticed we called past their office hours. BUT they did return the call outside of hours. Thanks for the tip

What I tell people about MSC, it is a "good" cruise line. It won't blow your doors off like a Royal Caribbean Oasis class ship, but it wont' disappoint like some of the OLD Carnival ships. If you are looking for a solid "good" cruise, MSC is a great bargain, just regulate your expectations.

I really love how cruise informative you are, but really hate Mexican food for the most part, especially tacos and burritos... Perhaps you could find a better or larger perspective with regard to different palates. I am a seafood lover, for instance.... and after that a steak lover.

Yes but we didn’t think the upgrade fee would be as much as the original package. Most cruise lines will charge you a nominal fee if you decide to upgrade. Not the original package cost.

❌We took a couples cruise in 2016-17 Boarded in Italy 🇮🇹 the MSC MEREVIGLIA WAS THE WORST CRUISE EXPERIENCE OF OUR 14 yrs!! That crew was ALL EUROPEEAN SOME ASIAN BUT THE CREW WAS HORRIBLE TOWARDS US ( the ONLY AA ONTHE ENTIRE SHIP) and the passengers was just as RACIST‼️looking at us as if how dare we be cruising with them!! nasty stares! comments , behavior andTHE HORRIBLE FOOD!!!!!!!!‼️‼️‼️‼️🤢 BLAND EUROPEAN CUISINE! i’m not picky! i eat EVERYTHING! this shit was BAD! All 10 of us couldn’t take the buffet garbage 🗑️ nor the MDR “food” We basically had to pay for our food in specialty dining every night in order to get a decent meal! 🥘 that pissed us off‼️🚢🚢MSC WILLL NEVER SEE OUR MONEY AGAIN! especially going to EUROPE 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾❌

It’s interesting you say this because I’ve heard of similar things, especially overseas- and during your time frame. So sorry you experienced that. We sailed on MSC Grandiosa in Europe 2 years ago and some of the passengers were very rude, but we didn’t have issues with the crew. The food was decent. It does sound like MSC has made a lot of changes since you sailed with them. I’ve cruised with them 7 times over the last 2 years and have overall had positive experiences. I will be back in Europe sailing with them early next year and I’ll certainly be sharing my experience- good and bad.
