I am producing this video series with my co-instructor, Myla Sunshine, a beautiful girl with low tone and Down syndrome. She lives 250 miles from my house. Her parents were nice enough to allow me, a perfect stranger, to come in and share their daughter with the world. Thank you, again. My name is Amy Sturkey. I am a pediatric physical therapist from the United States. I hope to follow Myla as she develops. I hope to teach ideas to help her learn to move, crawl, sit, and walk. I started this video series after questions came in from all over the world from people seeking assistance in helping children with low tone. The ideas I teach in this video are inappropriate for a much weaker child than the one featured. I hope you find this idea useful and simple.

Hello! Do you recommend any toy/vehicle to strengthen legs muscles for toddlers (2 and half years)? Jumpers, bicycle without pedals, etc... thanks

That answer would depend on the child. I do like those tricycles that are convertible to change as the child gets better

@@pediatricPTexercises It is for a CHD toddler, he has a plastic tricycle (like this one kzbin.info/www/bejne/e17PpYOYhN15hs0) that he doesn't use pedals yet, also he doesn't jump. Maybe, I'll get another tricycle that could make he more closer to pedals.

@@TheMVJunior That looks similar to what I was thinking. I can’t make recommendations about a specific child. A local pediatric physical therapist would be the best to help choose a product for your child.
