For me, the ideas in kzbin.infoUgkxAfqpMLyFn37qcqUl0FAzqkkycQeXqrhP Plans were a starting point for building different sheds . Ryan gives ideas that allow an individual to draw nicest conclusions into the design and building of his or her own shed.

You two young people are really SMART. If everybody in America would live like this , boy we would be in a lot better shape. To me , it doesn't look like a shed. The porches really added to it ,looks like a country farm house. So nice

@@BetterTogetherLife No. Thank you! As an older home owner, I was just tickled by your enthusiasm. I don't know if you've had a chance to watch this video, purely for context, but you were so clearly excited and proud to talk about each accomplishment. I've watched many DIY home videos, and while everyone shows off their work, none have been as joyful and thankful as you. Everything you introduced to us was like, "THE BEST THING, EVER!" As a home owner, that's what all about, appreciating each accomplishment, and you really put that in prospective. I wish you all continued success and joy in building your dream!

@@BetterTogetherLife very cool. Looking forward to eat. It's a shame you don't have another one on your property . I would rent it from you. My fiance builds as well. Just wish we had the money to build a tiny home. Both if us want one really bad. Thinking about getting a business loan or grant and starting a business building tiny homes. Airbnb would be a great start. Smaller foot print with solar power is awesome. I just need my dish tv. Love my dish. Went to cable for a bit went right back to dish. I pay less and still have all the channels I want. Shark week starts on July 11th. I never miss it. I told my fiance. No matter what we live in dish is coming with us. Lol. Any way can't wait to see what cool things you build. Good luck and don't forget to take time for yourselves so you don't burn out. The kids need mom and dad. You should make a horse trough pool. Use solar water fall to keep the water moving. So no bugs lay eggs in it and some clorine. Your kids will love it

16'x48' with 9 ft. high walls is a great idea to make one big LONG house. I would go to 10 or 12 ft. hgh walls to make up for the narrow width, and give the "cathedral ceiling" effect, with glass French Doors instead of half-size windows. This allows the sunlight to stream in across the floor and the entire space and you can still put furniture in front of them (they don't have to function as doors but can whenever you want!). The whole house could be done in stages as finances permit. Love the additons you added to both sides of the house with the barn / gable roof center. Great videos and so inspiring. Thanks for posting!

Awesome job! I noticed you have my size dog crate 😊 I just moved ours under the stairs, and modified the area and crate to work.

I would put electrical shrink wrap over the frayed ends of the cable on the staircase handrails. It could save a hand or finger from getting cut.

I was thinking exactly the same thing! You wouldn't be a crafter would you?!

@@christineleblanc9281 it was just an observation. I'm not a crafter. I've built decks and a room addition.

I was thinking the same thing. They also make "grip dip" that you can paint on cables since it would be a nightmare to put shrink wrap on those after they have been put in place.

@@BlindLemonFishStix there is liquid electrical tape. It has an applicator brush on the lid to paint a rubberized coating onto wires. It works well for wires exposed to moisture. Eg. Boats. It would work well for this too.

@OldPossum No different from the process we use to build gates around pens on the farm. So, yea, some of us do know what we are talking about. This was done badly and it will be a hazard unless it is somehow "dressed". After it has been assembled it is hard to do anything. If they had thought about it ahead of time, they could have put electrical shrink wrap or some other type of cover. After the fact, it is just more difficult. But, they are learning as they go. They will do better next time after the frayed ends of the cable snag flesh or someone's favorite sweater.

I can't believe you guys are embarrassed that there are a few things not complete. This house rocks and gives me great hope that I can do something a little less complicated as a retirement home! Also your hubby works incredibly hard and you guys are very lucky!

I’d like to add an extra like for the ending. It was so cool to see how y’all moved your things around so we could all see your spaces in the “ideal” conditions… we all have mess. We all dream of a perfectly organized home. Maybe some people have a perfectly organized home, but that can’t be normal.
