Couple things: 1) For anyone who is new to the channel: I do highlights for each Red Wings win during the season. Each video is 6-12 minutes in length (can't be any longer or else it will be blocked) and they are posted either overnight or in the evening the following day. Also, because I'm not in the Detroit area, occasionally I will get stuck with the feed from the other team. 2) I will finish the remaining 5 parts of the Best of Joe Louis Arena series during off days in the next couple of months. pretty good opener ... some defensive lapses, but 2 PP goals and good PK were encouraging. Jimmy looked solid. i liked the scoring too, Hank was no surprise but it was great to see Mantha, Larkin and Frk lighting it up. This game and pre-season are all i've seen of Frk but he has a wicked slapshot.

I doubt it, there were empty seats everywhere, and ticket prices went up. If they keep playing like this, those seats will be full in no time though

They were sold out.. people are experience the new arena for the first time and you can pretty much watch the game from w/e you are, that is why it's empty..

Since there were three horns in total at JLA, I will take that with a grain of salt.

yeah but they were all wired to work together, that's where the problem lies. Rewiring 22 year old horns to 2017 technology isn't easy. hopefully this recording isn't permanent. they're also supposed to have a giant red and white custom organ as well and that was not in for opening night. Gotta remember that this is a learning process for fans and the people who run the building!
