How can we avoid fat? All pooches have had their fair share of fat. Even wolves and foxes eat it. Can't my 20pound Fox Terrier have any fat?

I just went through a lot of problems from a sudden illness with my dog. The problem is they never found out why the dog was sick and near death. The white blood cells were killing him by distroying the red cells. I spent almost too long before going to vet. I thought he'd get better on his own. I didn't see him eat or be around anything to make him sick. After 2 days of not eating I took the dieing dog in and the vet put him on meds and now he's ok. I hope no problems come later from this and he just lives. Take note: when they say to let a vet see your dog if acting differently then normal, go into the vet office for a blood test.

I’m wondering what has changed in some of these foods. The dogs we had when we were kids ate almost everything. Occasionally they’d vomit but that was it. Our dogs would eat chocolate candy from our Easter Baskets, steak bones, and almost anything else except fruit. I wonder if the problem would be additives or pesticides (in produce). Our dogs lived long lives too. Either we were very lucky or something changed. I do make sure our dog doesn’t eat chocolate or raisins, but was surprised to learn about mustard and nutmeg. Guess I’ll have to keep him away from some Christmas treats!

True my first dog ate everything even chocolate....but small quantity ......and he lived to the ripe old age of 22 years ....he even ate paw paw 😂

My dogs very rarely go to the vet. They eat raw meat and have a raw egg twice a week. They are 9 and 10 years old, have a walk everyday and act like puppies. We live in the uk so don’t know if our eggs are treated differently but I always buy free range 🇬🇧

You would have to feed huge amounts of garlic, many bulbs, to get any sort of negative affect. And avocado by itself is just fine. Of course you don't feed to the pit or the skin. Raw eggs are perfectly safe. Again, you would have to feed many dozen before you would get in effect. My neighbors dogs eat grapes, right off his vines, all season long and have for several years with no ill affects. Any dog can react to just about anything. But to make blanket statements that these foods are harmful, many of them anyway, it's just plain wrong.

My dog ate cherry tomatoes , green beans , peas right off the plant . She also loved carrots right from the garden .🥰🥰🥰

Garlic is safe for dogs, in a normal quality. My dogs have Garlic in their homemade food. Onions on the other hand ARE bad for pups, so avoid them. Raw eggs are safe, my dogs have them Multiple times a week. Avocado the part that you eat is safe.

Yes a dog breeder gives his pit bulls a raw egg once a week ....and hes being doing it for years .....

I had a Mini Poodle and a Schnoodle eat a lot of chocolate. My wife left the Hershey kisses on the couch. I was outside working on her truck. When I came in I asked where are the kisses? She said they were on the couch. I looked and found the packaging and knew then that the dogs ate it. We took them to the vet where they stayed over night and nothing and I mean nothing happened to them. I do not understand why people have stated that chocolate can kill a dog or maybe make them sick. My wife in Alabama had a big Hershey bar and left it on the side table. The Beagle ate it and we took him to the vet and he stayed over night and nothing was wrong with him. How can 3 different dogs do not get sick from eating chocolate. Please explain.

Because there is really no chocolate in the big brand chocolates. It's the dark real chocolate that is a concern. This video is to guilt people and cause enough fear that you'll spend hundreds if not thousands of dollars at the vets.
