Now all the C2 videos comes easy, I do not make any mistakes and all the examples you mention are things I known and I get it right away in all the quizzes on the C2 level... what shall one practice on to improve ones writing and pronunciation in daily conversations, not word by word correctness in pronouncing, but to have a fluid speech for at least 5 minutes without any American able to feel or guess you are not an American as well? I find it hard to find a really good course for writing and another one for getting the perfect American accent, so that one in the future can work and be taken for a native speaker of American English with highly developed writing skills for both fiction and non-fiction. What is the" level" beyond C2? I studied journalism for a year in Washington D.C. and got used to work fast, but fast did not develop a deeper writing skill, so I was always depending on my editor to correct all my writing before it would be published... Is not a fun situation as a foreigner at all, to say the least... I got some professional certificates, and a B.A. in writing for film and in novel / fiction writing... I also got conservatory training in acting by New York University, Tish school of the arts... I feel writing is something I really love, but I see that I speak a lot better than I write... and I see in the eyes with those Americans I converse with when they see I am falling back into my Swedish accent.. And I hate it, I wanna break free from all this and raise my level to be taken as a native speaker and highly educated writer... What courses might be the best for me to look into? thanks for a lot of great videos, been checking back in here for a while and I really enjoy your way of teaching, so hope to get some advice. Kind regards, Christopher

I sure learned some. It was fun! Something I can give in return is about the cooking: maybe you can see the channels I'm subscribed to. I try to learn from the best. Coming from a mostly technical background, I'd suggest for you to learn some few recipes by heart, first. Then learn variations of those. Like: a simple mayonaise can go a long way. To aioli, to burger sauce, to sauce tartar. I'll give you a few examples: Pailin's kitchen. Pai ist a master in explaining things. Which then, is almost half of the cooking. (I.e.: NEW crab fried rice. Includes the basics.) Marion's kitchen. Marion Grasby. I found her, explaining pavlova. (Aussi and NZ national dessert.) Chef John "Food Wishes". Cherry chocolate loaf. (I'm using sour cherrys from the glas. A lot faster!) A last one: "6 Braising Mistakes Most Beginners Make" by Ethan Chlebowsky. It took me 61yrs, to get it explained this perfect to me. 4 examples. Enjoy the journey!

I was drawing blanks all over the place 2 days ago. Any time a nurse or doctor asked me a question, I kept stopping because I was forgetting what I just said and drawing a blank on the question. I started getting worried about myself but they didn't get upset at all. I've been sleeping almost continuously since Wednesday. I found out that COVID is alive snd huge as ever, though. Even though I didn't have either of the 2 kinds they tested for, all this time we've been being disgustingly LIED to about it being gone or not dangerous. IDK what their deal is with doing this about Covid but, since I had to test for it again, I'm not tolerating their aggressiveness anymore - (about wearing masks or not; they have a fit if you do.) I do have a very severe upper respiratory infection though. I don't think I've ever had one before. from Vicki
